    However, I admit that a large number of zutara fanfics are quite bad, simply because many of the authors can not understand the english language, or what a "plot" is. The grammar, spelling and "plot" errors......its as horrific as the prospect of avatar never airing ever again!

    However, they are also a number of truly awful Kataang fics. I've read some where I severely doubt the person understands what "kataang" actually is, lol. Or "romance". Or even what a "story" is. Seriously. Its that bad sometimes, lol.

    First time, she gave an ambiguous look and has yet to talk to Aang about it. Second time, she quickly pulls away.

    True, but lets not skim the details. Katara is crying before she runs to embrace Zuzu, meaning she hugs him for emotional comfort. The only time she cried before embracing Aang was when they were on the serpent's pass. By looking at it that way, they are at 1 point each.

    By that logic, Toph and Sokka is a canon relationship. That has been disproven by the presence of Suki and Wiselads reasoning that, since all main points of the plot were decided before 101 and Toph was originally a male, Tokka cannot happen. That point fails.

    No, some specific humans should just be prevented from writing fanfiction

    And yes, maybe I should also be prevented from writing down my thoughts on avatar and ships. But if I left, who else would you guys argue with? daveshan can't hold up the reasonable-zutara side by himself! (well, you could try, but back-up is always good )

    Actually, my 10-year-old brother told me he thought katara and aang getting together was weird (and this was about a week after DOBS aired, and without me talking to him about zutara happening). I then asked him what he thought about zuko and katara happening, and he said those two should get together.

    He was really freaked out when I shrieked and hugged him, lol. Both my avatard brothers now know how much I love zutara, and are quite amused at my expense.

    So there. Real-life example of younger child not going for kataang

    Ah, c'mon Space. Pretty much every fanfic is bad, not just Zutara alone, so don't pin it on them. And of course there must be good Zutara fics just as there are good Zutara fanart. It all depends on the creator.

    Kids these days are ruined! What happened to the ideals of my childhood? In my days boys were gross and girls had cooties and under those conditions we are not fit to date until puberty hits. In my childhood days we would not sit around trying to figure out who should Katara end with, instead we would run around pretending to be benders. ;_; Now I see my younger sister babbling about boys and squeeling at romances instead of playing all the time. But then again I was running around with my best friend behind trees trying to "ninja attack" her brother just to get caught by her back pack (We had to run away instead since he had silly string and we didn't XD) so maybe my childhood isn't over.

    I know there's good ones too. I just always hear about the bad ones. Actually, I peaked at the adult fan fiction place and this Katara and Aang one that took place in the future was kind of... descriptive.

    The point was how simple it is to see it. I'll just add that also a 20, 30, 40, and 50 year old can tell you that Katara loves Aang.
