Toph: Thats how I show affection.

I wonder what Toph does when she really likes somebody...

I guess Sokka will find out soon ;]

It would be funny if toph had some jealous scenes with Suki..

Ahahaha. I doubt that, though. I just think the whole Toph/Sokka thing was a joke. More than one pair of lovers in the gAang would be too much.

True haha. She's probably over him by now anyway.

Has there been any flirting since Serpent's Pass? I can't recall anything.
There was kinda in Sokka's Master.

Oh yeah! I totally forgot about that. Hmm... I guess they haven't let go of the idea. I wonder why they would bring it up so close to the finale? I mean, I honestly think it will never work. It's just too perfect, having two couples in the gAang.

Although it's arguable that they deserve to have something work out perfectly. XP

Lol. I don't enjoy perfection. It ruins things. I enjoy realism more than romanticism. Call meh crazyy!

I like a mixture of both. Conflict is good to strengthen bonds, but you can't always have struggle. Quiet time is nice. ;P

Lol, I'm sure it did. It wasn't supposed to, though. It had absolutely nothing to do with the series. It was just Mike and Bryan's way of saying, "Hey fans! We know what you guys are talking about!" It was nothing of any significance.

Loved the episode. Especially "Toph's" sonic mouth waves, LMAO!

Concerning the shipping: If punching is Toph's way of showing affection, then she must have lots for Aang. Think about it. In the play, she was a guy, and he was a girl. Air and earth. They balance each other out. Both twelve - she's even shorter than him. I think that Toph was made a girl, a small girl with a small voice but great powers, for the sole purpose of ending up with Aang.

I think that Aang is going to have to sacrifice Katara, and will eventually end up with Toph (even if it's far in the future). As for Zutara...I dunno. I think all the suggestions may have been to reward the many Zutara fans, but though Zuko and Katara have become good friends, they don't seem to be romantically interested in each other - at least not at the moment. So yeah, there's a strong possiblilty of Zutara, but I can also forsee Zuko and Mai getting back together. What I cannot see anymore is Kataang. It's not cute anymore, just odd, especially when he kisses her. The age difference is too steep for them to be going that far (for Aang to expect them to be "together" already, as in boyfriend/girlfriend), and Aang does NEED to sacrifice his love for her - Katara in particular, in order to reach the Avatar state.

All in all, I see a happy ending, and everyone finding love, even if they don't end up with their current crush (I mean, look at the Toph/Sokka/Suki. Everyone managed to survive that. And yeah, twelve-year-olds are like that. They crush on older people).

Hello and welcome to TV.com and the Avatar forum.
Aang's Avatar State is already blocked permanently, or at least it's supposed to be. He was all glowy in the trailer... 0_o

And Aang and Toph have never showed any interest in each other, and neither have Katara and Zuko, so...eh.

I'm very mad about that. How did he miraculously access the Avatar State again? Even if he DID give up Katara, it won't make any difference. I mean, he DIED while in the Avatar state. There is no more Avatar state, and if Aang dies I don't think there will be another Avatar. SO WTF IS UP WITH THE COMMERCIAL!? They had better have a good explanation.
