    Not exactly.
Part of the point of the episode was to dedicate to the fans who often see Zutara when its not really there. The play favored Zutara and dissed Kattaang like so many fans do even though its obvious Kattanng is more likely in the end.

But I also think Katara was serious with her discussion with Aang. But the best relationships always have some bumps in the road early on.

I think the way Katara said, "It won't work" was her coward way of getting out of saying, "I don't like you." I'm sure she realizes that Aang needs her now more than ever, but I guess he just pushed her too far. DAMN YOU, KATARA! I am now pro-kill Katara.

That is so true. It reminds me a lot of my relationship

Aang obviously needs to learn timing. But geez, Katara's a jerk. She's been PMSing for the past five episodes now. Between that and the bloodbending it feels like she's been out of character for the last half of season three.

I don't think it's being out of character, per say. I just think it's a side of her we've never seen. A side of her I don't like *grumbles*.

Maybe it was her messing with her hair. She does that when she's nervous. (See: The Headband.)

Oh come on. Is that all you watch Avatar for? Action? Yeah, action's a nice addition, but it's not what really makes the show. Even if they did trash the place, it'd just be The Beach over again. The point of the episode was to be funny, to get Aang and Zuko ticked off, and to get shipping kick-started again before Katara's "decision"(Not that TSR didn't help a little). Besides, many of the best episodes barely had action in them either.

I love how the show satires itself in this one. Seriously, what other serious show has dedicated an entire episode to something like this?

I agree. If you only watch the series for action, then you aren't getting the full potential of this show.

She doesn't want to have a relationship now, the war's still going on. She's not like Sokka, who doesn't care about that minor little detail. XP

I don't blame Katara for pushing Aang away, because that was a stupid move on his part. I am still a full out Kataang shipper though.

Yeah, I guess that's it. But I like the nice, supportive, keep the group together style Katara we saw when Appa was stolen. But I guess the threat of imminent battle with the most powerful nation on the planet might bring out a darker side of her. I just hope we see some of the more redeeming qualities of Katara in the finale.
