I wish but there could be an even bigger problem like??..........

???????? they defeated the firelord but now the earth kingdom is making their own??war against??all the nations like the fire nation did??and toph, sokka, katara and aang discover that aang has to master all jings.

jings is heard in the episode "Return to Omashu".

and toph won't be friends with sokka, katara and aang because of the war.Zuko will now join the team because the war has ended or will he because he still has to bring the avatar to his father.

would you rather Avatar last for 3 amazing seasons
    or
would you rather it last for 3 amazing season and 1 horrible one filled with filler and a plotline that seems that they picked out of a hat

exactly my point, it could potentially wreck the name of Avatar

(BTW I picked the first one)

Well, That 70's Show had a sucky last season and it's name isn't wrecked.

Maybe season 4 will be about the next avatar. An earthbender. A spinoff kinda like Yugioh GX.

I hope not. I hate it when they change characters. Like in Pokemon (May and Max?) or in the 102 Dalmations movie.

    some ideas of 4 seazon:
    1) he talks to the guru again and resumes training and practices the avatar state to fight ozai.
    2) he tries to make moves that incorperate all 4 elements in one huge finishing move tht'll blow ozai to kingdom come.
    3) zuko leaves azula and zuko, iroh, katara, sokka, toph, and aang try to over throw azula and ozai, and this takes 20 episodes?

As much as I'd like to see an Earthbender Avatar(kind of an oxymoron isn't it?) the next Avatar will be a Waterbender...and if Aang and Katara hook up then maybe one of his grandkids...well I don't have to spell it out do it?

I would be willing to support a 4th season IF AND ONLY IF Nick allowed Mick and Brian all the time they needed to fully and completly plan out the season, and if the two felt it shouldn't be done that they would still be free to drop the idea

a lot of times when demanding the creators make more material networks have all the contracts and deadlines get in the way. The creators can't just stop because they are obligated to work due to a contract. But because of deadlines they are rushed and can't come up with the normally great storylines we are used to.

    ??

???????? I??know. I've seen it happen time and time again, but I think the Story Board Production Staff Could Make a fourth seasion??without any fillers and might actualy top the other three seasons.

???????? The whole point in making a TV show Is to turn a profit with advertisers and products. This show has great ratings. They stop the show, They stop there own income do you really think that??all th people that make avatar a reality would just stop the show. They have made a grate show and I think that there going to make more seasons and get there money out of it.??

    ????????

Mike and Bryan would be fools to not atleast have an inkling of where else they'd go with the show, even if they don't ever use it. Even if it's just a small idea or premise. Especially after the first season and they got a good following. Of course now they've got the 3rd season to work on, but I don't doubt for a second someone working on that show is thinking ahead a lil bit. Hell maybe the original plan was just 3 seasons, but if the Avatar became a hit they could come up with a plan B that can even somehow expand the plot further. And a whole new element to the show(no, not THAT kinda element)...

Well, I still stand behind my opinion, that the show shouldn't continue past 3 seasons. I have got into this show so much, that it's practically the only show I watch. I can definetly understand where you guys are coming from, but my mind still remains unchanged. To me Avatar is like an epic story of stuggle, power, love?, and betrayal. But like all good epics then must all end.

It's really hard for me to explain, but maybe I was just so used to watching so much c r @ p??that came from hollywood, (And this is a strong statment, because I usually don't swear) that when I finally found a show that exceed my expectations, then I wouldn't miss it for the world. It's hard to expalin but I don not want the show extended, I want it to end with the original epic story that aoriginally came with it. Mike n Bryan are indeed great writers/creators, and I'm estatic that they decided to make his show, but (I can't believe Im about to say this) they are NOT gods. They are probably the best storytellers I know, but I just don't think they can create another great season of avatar.....Then again I'm a tough audience.

I probably stand alone in my decision, but I will defend it till the end.

You people do realize that if Avatar ends with three seasons that it will have 60 episodes in all. That's more than what Samurai Champloo has and its?? considered a classic. Just because something is short doesn't mean it won't be good. Like life or a video game. 60 episodes is very good. I don't want to push the Avatar people into making more episodes than was originally planned. Think about it, after Book Three, the Fire Lord will be dead and the war will be over. Do you really want to watch the gang fly around rebuilding homes and such for 20 episodes? What has happened to the Simpsons, FOP, and Spongebob will happen to Avatar if it is pushed into producing more episodes than originally planned.

Don't compare Avatar to Spongebob abd other shows like you mentioned because its different, way different. Besides, if they are extended it, it doesn't mean the Fire Lord will be defeated in Season 3 although that is what they promised Nick.

Yet another fan with absolutely no faith in the creators and writers. *sigh* When will these people learn? EVERY show doesn't go bad after it's original arc. Take Prison Break. People said its 2nd season would suck and that the original season should be the only one. What happens? Bang, they knock our socks off in the second season.

It's hard for me to think the show will just end after 3 seasons. It is very successful and profitable for Nick, so I could see them ordering a 4th season, maybe even a 5th. Remember Nick was the one who started negotiations with the creators to extend the series. That means they're not ready for it to end either.

Who's to say the 4th season wouldn't be epic. Suppose it had a civil war in the Fire Nation after Ozai was defeated, Azula wants the throne but someone more despicable enters the picture. That would be awesome. There are any number of directions they could take the show and still make it have the original, epic feel to it. Before making a judgment, good or bad, you should AT LEAST listen to what they have planned for the season first (which we don't know, yet). Otherwise you're flat out ignorant, sorry to say.

Exactly, the writers have had to come up with a sketch in their mind aty least for a fourth season at least.

A 4th season could focus on post-war actions and more developement of the characters. They could do it, I have the utmost confidence in them.
