Anyone who has watched Avatar the Last Airbender will tell you otherwise. In fact, during season 2 and the first half of season 3, I think that the Good guys actually lose far more than they win (as was commented on in EIP), and when they do win, they usually need a heck of a lot of good luck to do so.
Exactly. After Aang completely blew it in "The Guru" the Gaang got their collective asses kicked in practically every battle up until Sokka's lucky shot hit CM in WAT.
EDIT: The only exceptions I can think of are Katara's victory over Hama and the uber-pwnage she laid down on the FN soldiers in "The Painted Lady."
That's pretty much it. And even before the B2 finale, the gaang were very lucky to have won anything. Their skimishes with Azula and Long Feng required more than one deus ex machina for them to even survive, let alone win.
Yeah but...they kicked serious ass when they stormed the EK's palace.
True that.
Too bad they couldn't storm Ozai's palace with that much effeciency.
Impossible. The Earth Kingdom guards might have been pushovers, but the Fire nation is too bad ass to just roll over for the good guys like that:

Seeing as I don't watch that show, I will comfortably ignore what you just said and still take the "Aye" as a reference to Avatar Apparently if you miss one episode of Lost you're screwed. Not my type of show.
