I got my Books 1 and 2 DVDs and Im almost done with Book 1....

Aang sure has changed... In the pilot his voice was higher, more child-like, and by Sozin's Comet, he had that same child-like attitude but a serious tone....

In the pilot his voice was played by a different actor. But yeah, I watched a few episodes yesterday of book 1 on Avatar Chapters and you can really see and hear how much he's changed, voice and appearance. Even his cheeks aren't as pudgy as they used to be. lolz!

The eyes were HUGE! My god. I'm so happy they changed that. It was disgusting. It was like they were trying to be anime. Ugh.

I thought it was incredibly lame how Aang was suddenly able to go into Avatar state after he got pushed into a rock and suddenly started winning. I thought the firelord and Avatar Aang would be pretty even. I also hated how Katara was the one to defeat Azula I would have perfered if it was Zuko instead because they were always destined to fight. I thought it was dumb how Zuko survived after taking a direct hit of lighting straight in his stomach. I mean Aang died and he was only hit in the back and Katara brought him back with spirit water. I thought it was dumb how 3 kids managed to take down an entire fleet of air ships. Last I hated the corny ending how none of the good guys died.

lol actually none of the stuff you said bothered me, and zuko didn't take the hit, he redirected it. The next shot was the lightning being shot up to the sky, he just wasn't able to redirect all of it.

Why do so many people think no one dying = corny ending? The baddies were defeated in a creative and stunning way rather than a simple lightning bolt. As for none of the heros dying, well, anyone who needs good guys to die for their amusement because it simply adds some drama is a little unhealthy, to put it bluntly. Did Spike dying at the end of Cowboy Bebop add a sense of finality and closure? Yes. Was it needed to make the ending great? No.

And if Roku was able to own Firelord Sozin in less than 10 seconds without the Avatar State, I think it's reasonable to assume Ozai was lucky to last as long as he did with the comet boost.

the fact that no one dies isn't what makes a corny lol that's not what i said.

I didn't really like that Katara fought either but I was fine with it because it had already shown that Zuko was stronger than Azula. Aang vs. Ozai I thought would be how you pictured but I wasn't too disappointed because they both did some awesome bending. The reason Aang went into the Avatar state was because in the first episode of the season it was mentioned by Katara that alot of energy was locked in his back so when he was hit by the rock all of that energy came out at once and shoved him into the Avatar state. I liked the last five minutes because they provided closure to the series.

Ya, I was pretty pissed that Katra beat Azula(if the battle went on as just Zuko and Azula, Zuko would have beat her) I was also kinda pissed at the fight because Ozai was just running but there were some really nice moments in the fight. The ending was kinda werid how Zuko was in a tea shop when he was supposed to be the firelord and when we didn't get an answer about Zuko's mom, I was kinda mad. I find it funny how Roku and everyone thinks Aang has to beat the firelord before the comet. Like I thought the firebenders were unstople during the comet but they weren't. Katara beat Azula, The white lotus gang took Ba Sing Sa back and Aang beat the firelord DURING the comet. I think Aang might have gotten some power from it but only for his firebending.

They should make a prequel book to the series showing how Aang "mastered" airbending OR

They should make book 4:Air and it could take place like 3 years after the fight and could show Zuko finding his mom and Azula ploting with other firebendersto retake the firenation when the comet comes(in lik 100 years tho) Ozai can get his firebending back......nevermind that would be stupid.
