I don't think the lion turtle was random. He was in the library episode. i think it was like a foreshadowing thing.

Also there was a lion turtle in Sokka's master as well as the unaired pilot (you can watch it online if you google it). I don't have the picture but I'm sure if you go back a few pages (give or take 100 pages) back there is a picture.

Me Too. I like the whole show but when they left questions unanswered and when aang was suddenly able to use the avatar state one he was hit with the rock in his back was just a waste. They could have done so more with that in the story. I mean it didnt affect the way the finale affected me... i mean i did watch it about everytime it came on TV after it aired.

I think they put him into the avatar like that just for the sake of time. Maybe they were running out of time.

It's not that complicated. What locked his final chakra in the first place? The lightning bolt to the back. Katara later says "There's alot of energy twisted up in there." Hell, Katara almost set off the Avatar state herself in "The Awakening" right after that. One brutal shot to the back locks, a second in the same area opened it back up.

I see no problem there. I can understand gripes with the Lion-Turtle, but whatever. I'm cool with that finale reveal. Because if they didn't show the lion-turtle in the finale and maybe an episode or two before hand, no one would've complained(probably wrong).

Well, since you put it that way... I guess it makes since. And now that i think about it.... it was kinda awesome when aang just got up and was in the avatar state and the look on firelord Ozai's face was just the funniest.

He was also in the pilot episode. Some people think that he's specifically an Air Nomad animal because an airbender was air bending in front of him in the pilot. I think it makes sense.

Literally? Of course. Well, there is the slight chance that Aang will get killed in the Avatar state. But I think you mean another series. No one is positive. Bryke has casually mentioned it, but he specifically said that it's a slim chance. They're very focused on the movies right now. But they might continue the series with a WHOLE NEW plot line with NEW characters if the show gets enough positive feed back from the fans. That's where we come in. Buy the Box Set's and the seperate DVD's and go to the new movie 430956834096834 times. Encourage Nick as much as you can.
