Too bad we didn't see much of him in the finale. I lol'ed at Toph though (to Katara), "I knew it! You did have a secret thing with Haru!" Or something along those lines x] |

Oh that would be just horrible... Besides, nowhere do the creators state that the same characters won't be back in the next plotline. I'll stay hopeful! |
so will i,
if the new series has all new characters its going to be rubish

17. If Avatar was rated more maturely, couldn't Katara bend an enemy's blood out of it's body to kill him/her?? |

so it ended with one cliffhanger. I assume we'll find out about zuko's mom in the movie I've heard about. All in all a fabulous ending. Loved seeing a female airbender! I shall call her an air nun. |

There was only one problem with the finale. Consider that, in The Boiling Rock, Zuko fought Azula. And in The Southern Raiders, Zuko fought Azula. Anyone see the problem? In the finale, ANOTHER Zuko/Azula fight! I know it was an Agni Kai, but it's customary in finales to raise the stakes even higher, to make the villains even more evil, and the fate of the world hangs in the balance, etc. This was done with Ozai and his 'burn the world' plan. But just another fight between Zuko and Azula? What if, in the depths of her madness, Azula thought her father plotted against her, and gathered together a group of assassins to off him when he came back? And Katara ran into them while Zuko is battling Azula? That'd be one cool way to up the drama of the finale! |

And Katara ran into them while Zuko is battling Azula? That'd be one cool way to up the drama of the finale! For the assassins, I see a recovered Combustion Man (metal arm as well as metal leg - he lost a body part in that fall at the Western Air Temple - and due to his injury to his chi he can't fire bend exactly like before, so he uses some funnel or something to direct his fire bending third eye so he doesn't blow himself up), one of those guys from the Rough Rhinos (maybe the masked guy who threw the bombs?) and a new character, a female with the ability to copy others' moves (like Marvel Comics' Taskmaster). So she can fight like a Kyoshi Warrior, wield blades like Jet, maybe even walk up walls like the Dai Li (using special spike shoes and gloves, though). Then we'd see a real battle! Combustion Man would be the strongman of the group, since his bending isn't as explosive as before. |
