By, "it was just that awesome," do you mean, the movie or your trailor. Because, IMHO, they were both so.

Anyway, I have something to say regarding Sokka's boomerang and sword, and about show in one scene he loses them to symbolize him sacrificing for his friends' lives or something. In my mind, I'd like to say that, after Aang flooded the burnt woods to put the fire out, Sokka's boomerang was lost forever. Hey, he can always get a new one. But his sword, when it fell to the ground, was lodged in there a la sword-in-the-stone (or in this case, dirt) and later found. That can't be replaced. It is literally one-of-a-kind.

I thought about that too. That really too bad for Sokka that was quite a nice sword too. I wonder who found that sword, though?

The finale energized me to the point where I was hopping, jumping, and twitching for literally days after watching it.

In many ways, Sozin's Comet was just as empowering for as it was for firebenders - but it empowered fandom, rather than firebending

I wasn't nearly excited enough for Sozin's Comet. It was beyond my expectations. Heck, I don't think anyone would've guessed that it would've been THAT epic.

I know. That finale stands out as a shining example of what Avatar truly was and means to us.

Although to be fair, the Earth and Water Finales were epic too. But they just couldn't match the Fire finale. It had everything from brilliant plot and story to moving music to funny comic relief to epic bending battles. Perfection made manifest.
