    2. I agree. It was stunning.

    3. No, Zuko took the hit from Katara. There was no time to redirect it, and he knew that. He just flew in between Katara and the lightening. And I believe he redirected some of it. There was a brief scene of lightening in the sky.

    5. Wrong, wrong, wrong. Aang is his own person. He basically follows the religious path of Buddhists and other things related to that. He is not lame. He has a clear cut vision of what he wants, it just takes him a while to figure out how to get there. He's funny, careless (at times) yet VERY caring, loving, young, and innocent. He's very relatable and I think that makes him a top notch character.

    I agree with number 4. that makes sense.

    But my problem with Aang, although he's just so endearing, he's unrealistic. NO ONE IS THAT PURE.

    Actually yeah. One time at an icecream place. They were all calm and peaceful I know, but it seems like brainwashing to me.


    That's an opinion. The fact is, whether it's brainwashing or not, THEY are pure. They are whole and good and balanced. At least, Aang is


    Just because they BELIEVE they are pure doesn't mean they are completely pure. You can't be completely pure until you giant turtle bend someone else energy!

    Huh? Energybending doesn't make you pure...you have to be pure beforehand, otherwise you'll be destroyed when you try.

    theavatarportal.org has all the episodes in low to highish quality, I saw the movie and all of season 3 on there

    Uhm ok. Who thinks that the love stories had ABSOLUTLY NO DEPTH TO THE THEM. I was never a katara/Aang fan because it's just weird, and that would make Katara a HUGE cougar lol, (obvi I'm a katara/zuko fan) but regardless, THERE WAS NO DEPTH TO ALL 3 of THOSE LOVE STOREIS! And I know there was "conflict" between Katara and Aang, which was not really just natural indescisiveness, and I know you gotta keep it G for the kids (psh), but still.

    Age difference is greater between Zuko and Katara...

    I don't know if it was discussed on this board specifically, because I've been to a couple others, but here's some info: We've seen the library scene already. But in the pilot episode, look what Aang is bending in front of:

    I seriously recommend you watch this show called Angel, I think you'd love it.

    Weirder earlier in the series maybe, but he's all mature and stuff now. Fits better.

    That is quite true. Only once in a while have I seen Kataang develop and it was more of Katara- likes Aang/ Aang- loves Katara, which made me feel bad for lil' baldy. I don't get how Katara could possibly like Zuko when she only just started to trust him. I know he's hot to everyone probably including Katara, but there's not even a one-sided love there(sorry and bless all Zutara fans). I feel Aang wasn't in love with Katara, more like he was in love with her looks and her strength sometimes, but Aang should have been looking harder for a lover.
