    You mean like
    Roku is Zuko's great grandfather?
    lulz

But, if M. Night Shaymin [please tell me that you get this referense! i'll give you anything you want! money, cookies, power, women... men?] did the scrip, i would expect somethings like:
    Ozai was the Blue Spirit.
Sokka is actually the Avatar. [Aang tries to waterbend and phails, eventuallly leading to that discovery]
Every bender is actually an alien.
Momo is a lemur trained by Zhao.
The Earth Kingdom was the one to start the war.
    And lastly:
They are all a part of Roku's mind, what he thinks will happen if he doesn't kill his best friend Sozin who is actually his father and brother.

Shaymin? I think that's a Pokemans. *has never played after Gold*

Ya, it's a 4th Gen. event legendary, the only pure grass type legendary in the game.

    *needs a life*

    BTW, its speeled Shyamalalalalalalallamaman.

    ...Seriously, it's spelled Shyamalan.

"Shyamalan brought them the project after his daughters' enthusiasm proved contagious. "

So its cause of his daughters that hes even bothering to do the movie...not because hes a true fan himself

If all 3 movies have a budget of 250 million dollars than the CGI isn't going to be that good. I mean Iron Man had a budget of around 200 million and that probaly has the best CGI i've seen in my life. I guess if the first movie does well the 2nd two will get a higher budget.

Actually the budget was more like $130 million. And the CGI would be easier in Last Airbender than Iron Man, because Iron Man is in it a lot and fights a lot, but bending while important, it isn't the main focus of the story.

What you've quoted actually indicates that he is in fact a fan, it's just that his daughters got him hooked.

Let me put this into perspective:
Replace fandom with syphilis, read the sentence again... Does Shyamalan still have syphillis in the example question, or is he just pretending for his daughter's sake?

That actually made it more clear.
