She can bend METAL!!!

    the reason aang seems to be "weak" is because his emotions are holding him back, when he finally releases this emotion (i.e. letting go of katara) he got blindsided with a lightning bolt. Azula knew he was up to something so she did it which makes her a genius and not like other nemesis in which they wait for it to come to them. I do think that toph is very powerful now, probably at the level of king bumi, considering he thinks "out of the box" he will figure something out how to defeat toph which is pretty actually...

    round 1 fight!

    king bumi turns the whole field into sand...game over
    That's her weakness, its a major weakness actually and im pretty sure she will not overcome it because if she did, she'll be uber powerful and the writers dont want that.

    if Bumi can pull the sand trick on Toph she's in trouble, especially if it turns out he can bend sand as well.

    And I'm all for calling Toph a metel-bender, yes she is just bending the trace amounts of impurities in the metel, but still Metel-bending just sounds better. And yeah, with her ability to see vibrations I would think she is the sole earthbender capable of this

    what I'm wondering though is will she be able to do it with Fire Nation metels. That cage and the prison she, Sokka, and hte earth king were kept in where metels from the Earth Kingdom, and as we all know the fire nation is far more advanced than them, especially in metal work. So they would have far less impurities in their steel, perhapse little enough that Toph can't bend it.

    Round 2-Toph uses metal bending to pull off bumi's belt and starts slapping him with it repetitively until he surrenders!

    like others have said, the metel bending is most likely something only Toph can do because of her ability to see vibrations through earth bending

    its idol, unless that was done in purpose lol

    besides, why would there be a round 2 if toph is surrounded by sand already making her defenseless

    Why would there be metal around their fighting arena anyways? lol unless they fought inside a fire nation building or something

    Maybe Aang can bend all the elements of the chakras.
    My heart almost blown out of my chest when I saw Toph bend metal. I thought should would learn Gin, but she did something just as good. Or is this a type of Gin?

    Yeah, Bumi's the best Earthbender. He said it way before Toph did and you get no prizes for second place. Sorry, Toph. lol Anyway, I say Bumi could easily beat Toph or Aang. He could have killed Aang with ease if he really watned to in the 'King Of Omashu' episode.

    GREAT POINT!! I think she will get into some big trouble trying to figure out how to bend FN metal and then something will happen and she will become a master at bending FN metal too.

    If Toph becomes a master at metalbending then they should go to Omashu to liberate the city. Toph could easily take out those metal walls, because even the Fire Nation can't look inside the metal to see the impurities. Only Toph can

    btw, why couldn't any other earthbender close their eyes and be able to see around them with earthbending? Also, there HAS to be another blind earthbender SOMEWHERE. It just doesn't seem right that Toph is the only blind earthbender in the world. But, until there is another blind earthbender, she is.
