You know different fire colours represent different power of fire. Zuko is red, the more powerful Azula is blue, the original ones all colours, so what about Ozai? Maybe we'd see white fire from him. And if its not his normal colour, then the comet will make it so. What do you think of my theory?

I've actually had daydreams about the season finale. And in most of them, Ozai ended up using 'white fire.' I'm not sure if the creators are thinking the same thing, but I think it would be a neat idea.

And then something about a farfetched idea of Zuko using 'silver fire.' XD You can dream, right?

Well, in terms of science, red fire is hot, blue fire is hotter, and white fire is the hottest.

Maybe Ozai will just use lightning, since he's so powerful.

Different colors of fire just mean that the fire is different temperatures. If you ever look at a real fire, you'll notice that the outer flame is red (coolest), then orange, then yellow, green, blue, and purple (indigo and violet) as you head towards the center of the flame. Notice anything familiar about the order of the colors? It's the same as the rainbow except the ending color is pure white (hottest). That is why lightning is white (except the colorers of avatar made the lightning have a blue-ish tint), because lightning is the hottest type of 'flame'. Azula's fire is blue because it is more hot than Zuko's flame. I think it could be possible for firebenders to have different color flames such as green or indigo which would just mean that their flame is more hot.

Well we all know that the regular red, orange, yellow flames are powerful and hot and used by most firebenders. The only person in the whole show that firebend's a different color is Azula, and she firebends blue fire which is hotter than the ordinary red, orange, yellow flames used by other firebenders in the show. I think that Azula is going to be the only one to bend blue fire in the show because look at her name. In azula the spanish word, azul means blue. The only other person in the show with azul in there name is firelord Azulon but i doubt he will be firebending in the show. So the makers of the show didnt make azulas name like that by accident so they intended that only Azula can bend blue fire. Ozai on the other hand probally bends regular red, orange, yellow flames but probally has extreme power and control over them that not even azula can penetrate. Ozai also can bend lightning very fast so he probally just uses that a lot as well.

But really i think Ozai wont bend white fire. Seriously, where have u ever seen white fire?

White fire would be extremely difficult to animate, and in my opinion would look pretty stupid. I'd rather have his fire be purple if it's any technocolor.

But I'm almost positive he'll just use normal orange and red.

The original fire was not rainbow, it was just used for dramatic effect with the visions and what not, and white fire would look kinda weird in animation.

Some stars burn so hot that they actually take on a blueish-white color.

Ozai having white fire would be an extra obstacle for Aang. I mean, he's gonna have all the elements mastered by the time they fight supposedly, so giving Ozai an super Mod God power (like Toph's metalbending or Katara's bloodbending) would even them out some.

I always thought of Azula's blue fire as symbolic as well because although it is hotter fire, blue is a cold color, and I always thought it symbolized her icy heart. Only she can use it because she's so merciless. As for white fire I always thought it would go the other way because white is pure and good and more powerful than the blue fire, so I don't think it would be wasted on Ozai. If anyone was to bend white fire it would be Iroh.

You mean me shoots Star Fire's sister out of hands? ;p About the colors of fire... I think a lot of them have to do with what is being burned, correct? For example, when you burn newspaper, the fire will be a shade of green at first. Probably due to the chemicals being burned in the ink. So what colors of fire are based on temperature and not, well, what's being burned?
