How can you keep that a secret??? If you have a characteristic flame and that is that. You cant change fire colors at will unless you are a dragon. Plus why would he want to hide it??? It would make more people scarred of him even more if they knew that Fire lord Ozai can bend some mystical extremely powerful flame. It would give him more power and what i have learned from azula that there family on her fathers side is all about having power! Knowone will want to face him.

Another thing is that what aang had was a vision of him firebending he saw him and Ozai didnt know aang was going to be watching him so if he was alone and thought knowone could see him he would bend his "amazing fire" and aang would have known of that from the start.

Just get over the fact that Ozai is going to be bending some ordinary flames and no mystical flames. Like i said though he probally cna do amazing things with the flames he is going to use likme immense power and control. Even though Ozai will be bending ordinary flames it will still be pretty cool to see anyway.

Stars aren't made of fire, though. It's a contained Nuclear Reaction. I'm sure that's different.
You're right, they technecally are not made of fire. However, they are made of gases, that, when they combine, combust in a nuclear reaction. Stars are therefore, made up of various BURNING gases. Fire also needs some source of oxygen(which is a gas) in order to burn, so stars and fire are not that much different.

When the gases (or is it Gases?) in stars combine they fuse it is a Nuclear fusion reaction. Stars are made primarilly of hydrogen which fues together to creat helium. For something to burn they need oxygen hydrogen and helium are elements so the oxygen can't be from that and spaceis a near complete vacuum (not sure if that is spelt right) so the oxygen can't be from space either so np burning.

Nuclear fusion and fire are completely different.

I think you got your vocab a little mixed. Nuclear fusion/fission and burning are not the same thing, however, both produce fire since it's a form of energy that is released when substances combust or atoms combine/divide.

I mean come on. You can't tell me that red stuff isn't fire.

It's super hot gas but that doesn't mean it's "on fire."

Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. Which is why I went looking for an answer. (Yea, I'm a nerd. ) I came across this site which may help clear things up, though it only left me confused. idk, what do you all think? I still think that a firebender making white fire is possible, but extremely energy consuming. Sadly, as cool as it would be, I don't think we'll ever get to see white fire in the show. White fire would be so hot that it would probably burn a target just by passing too close (and by too close, I mean something like 2 ft away). Being able to seriously injure someone without even touching them with anything would be god moding.

Here is the site I found:

If the fire got that hot, I'm pretty sure Ozai would fry himself.

So I'm still going with the no to funkadelic fire.

You do realize fire is partially plasma, don't you?

If something looks like a flame and it emits heat and light, is that not fire? I don't know what other word you would use to describe the bright flames bursting from the sun's surface or the hot red stuff you get from other explosions.

Actually, if the person's hands were covered in copper, then they could momentarily bend green fire. But as far as actually making it themselves, yeah, probably never going to happen.

madness? THIS. IS. SCIENCE! Sorry, I couldn't resist. But its true. If you stick a piece of copper in a flame, then the flame will turn greenish in color.

How on Earth could someone hold and throw a white flame without burning the skin off?

White Flames are the Hottest flames ever even hotter than blue flames
