    I read his lips during that blank out, and considering the moment, I think he said something like "I was in Omashu waiting on the right time..." then after that the audio comes back and says "I didn't know what or when, but I knew it when I knew it. An eclipse!"

    1. Does anyone else think it's ironic that the war started with the friendship between the Avatar and the Fire Lord and now it ends with the friendship between the Avatar and the Fire Lord.

    2. At the risk of this sounding weird, was i necessary for both Aang and Ozai to be bare chested during the fight.

    3. Do you think Toph's parents will be more lenient on her now?

    1. I think it's symbolic. It goes along with the idea about how the avatar draws similar people to him/her in each lifetime.

    2. Purely fanservice. ;P

    3. They most likely realised that Toph's purpose was to help end the war and stepped back to let her live her life.

    Actually the Firelord (Zuko) & the Avatar (Aang) are friends. They even had that hug at the end.

    Actually the Firelord (Zuko) & the Avatar (Aang) are friends. They even had that hug at the end.
    More importantly they even said they were friends.

    And it reminded me of Roku and Sozin as they walked out to greet the crowd.

    Well when aang was falling, You know when he got blasted and he was heading headfirst into the water, did anyone else notice that the scar wasn't on his foot anymore?

    The show is over, if anyone on this site hasn't seen the finale yet, then tough t***y said Frank Nitty. You don't need to use spoiler tags. Anyway, I got the impression that that injury wasn't nearly as serious as the one on his back. I mean it didn't look that deep or that big. Though, now that you mention it, I think it was seen again during "The Runaway" when Aang was sparring with Katara and Toph.

    Guess you gotta chalk that up as an animator gaff.
