why do people say ty lee is an airbender???

Because she has most of the characteristics of an Airbender, although this is debatable.

there are defintyl some characteristice as an airbender ty lee has and that it isnt that far off since the air nomads were betrayd by that long mustanche airmaster that showed them the firnation, and katara didnt know she was and water bender till someone she started playing with that magic water. so yes she could be an airbender.

They thought the Avatar demo was limited to boys 9-14 and so they assumed they would only get the male action figures.

because of this many people boycotted the toys, thinking that these companies actually gave a s**t about them. the toy sales got so low that they were taken off teh shelves.
lesson: boycotts only work if they actually need your money.

Actually, the boycotts did work and they announced Katara figures to be released in the fall, but the whole toy line got discontinued.

moral of the story: toy companies shouldn't listen to whining fans. I bet most ppl that signed the petiton for it, didn't even buy an action figure.

If Roku trained with Gyatso at the Southern Air Temple, why did he learn waterbending at the Northern Water Tribe?

gyatso was a student also, not his trainer

Wiselad I think you missed the point of the question. As to the question perhaps he wanted to travel more and what not so he could be more familiar with the world, or perhaps he wasn't that bright.

    ?????????????

if you want to learn kung fu, you go to the best kung fu teacher, if you want to learn karate afterwards, you go to the best karate teacher, you don't stay near the kung fu teacher and go to a karate teacher not as good as the best karate teacher; than if later you want to learn judo, you go to athe best judo teacher

also remember that at first Aang wanted Bumi to be his earth teacher, but under recommendation of Bumi, he sought someone who listened to the earth(Toph), he didn't seek Haru or his father or the general from episode 201

They got the comet to make them go from super to uber. With it they obliterated the Airbenders (-1), gained a sizable foothold in the EK and continued to press on from there (-.5), decimated the Southern WT(-1), and leaving the Northern WT stuck on the defensive since they're not too hot on land with no liquids (-1).

So instead of fighting 3 nations, they're fighting half of one and playing raiding parties with the other.

I also have a question, but this isn't really important just everytime I watch Siege of the North Part 2, it makes me think.

What's the significance of that rope? I know Sokka says hey that's some quatlity rope (something like that) then when the Moon spirit is dead or near that part, they show an off screen shot of that rope. Did they rap the fish with the rope (I can't really tell since it is black and white), that's the only other thing I can think of them actually using that rope.

They used it to tie up Zuko. You can see him tied in it as Yue explains her origin story on Appa's back.

it took me ages to figure that out. you were supposed to realise that zuko had escaped. i guess it's just one of those things that if you don't get it straight away you don't get it at all.
