    Well I think it is because she can bend other forms of water not from "physical" earth. Yeah that probably is her mother's killer.

    I think they should reward us for waiting this long. Example the producers of the show should show a farewell to the show for all fans. I know some people might think that the daily shown episodes are enough of an award. Does anyone think the same thing? I will deeply miss the show after the finale.

    I think I got it: (THIS IS NOT A SPOILER!!!) Just what I think

    In the trailer katara is bending rain. If you notice there is a man on the ground against a tree. And in another part of the trailer they are shown fighting training dummies. Maybe that man is who helped them prepare for the finale battle and maybe or maybe not the man who killed their mother. MAYBE they had to prove themselves to him and katara started bending rain. They had to recieve training while the were together do that had to be the southern raiders episode . Just maybe. This isn't a spoiler this is what I think.

    it got unstickied for the sake of the Sozin Comet Protectors Thread. People stopped posting in it and it got lost/died.

    I personally go to Dongbufeng.net for any information about Avatar (they have up to date info for the show and the movie).

    Hi, this is my first post here, and I've been a hard-core Avatar fan forever. However, I was wondering why the Air Nomads are considered nomads when there were four temples that they lived at?

    Good question. We never found out much about the Air Nomad soiety. For all we know, the monks of the temples were only a small fraction of the Air Nomad community, and the majority roamed the world, not living in temples.

    Basically, we don't know enough about Air Nomad society to know the answer to that.
