    I know what you mean, the other week this girl I know told me to go play in traffic and I thought she meant it until she said she was being sarcastic. *sniff* And she was smiling when she said to play in traffic so I shoulda known XD

    i think e gets it the moment he/she is born but the avatar is still alive while the next avatar is in the tummy. i think the spirit goes into one of the babys who is coincedently orn right as soon as he/she dies

    in what episode or interview does it sa that all air nomads can automaticlly bend i thought the temples were there for traing?

    It's a gift some people have, not everyone has the power to bend. I think that's the fact cause, Katara also can bend but Sokka can't bend. I don't remember in what episode Katara says it, but she also says that not everyone can bend.

    Well all know this, but he's asking where was it confirmed that all Air Nomads are benders, because it was confirmed.

    this is the closest thing I could find and it actually just confuses me more lol

    RM: It seems that all air nomads are bender. Did they exile everyone who didn't manifest the trait, or did they have such a high percentage of born benders?

    BK: We have always liked the idea of who would be a bender and who won't be to be kind of an ambiguous mystery, even to the people in the avatar world. From very early on we thought all air nomads would be benders. Again its like mike was saying it's more of a spiritual connection

    (That can't be the proof, -ambiguous mystery/ thought?-)

    oh well I hope someone can find something a little more solid
