It's safe to assume that he's happy, healthy, and still at the Air Temple.

Why did people hate the episode "The Great Divide"? The only part I didn't like was the end.

Or do people like it but its just the worst episode.

I can't say for sure, because I actually enjoyed The Great Divide. But from what I've heard people are convinced that the episode had absolutely no significance and didn't add to the plot.

It kinda showed what kind of thoughts characters have about things, but I guess it kinda didn't have sgnificance.

I think it did. I think it showed Aang's ability to bring together two opposing people. That's the Avatar's job, after all, and I feel like this portrayed that Aang has what it takes.

But they could have shown that in any episode. It had no plot advancement at all which is why it is considered filler.

Eh, I don't think it was mega important, but I don't think it was a waste of time. Anyway, opinions are opinions, but by popular belief The Great Divide was a waste of time.

I think it was because you had to look at the sun in order to tell whether or not it was a full eclipse yet. Never stare directly at the sun! But I could be wrong.

because you can't look directly into an eclipse or you'll be blinded (yeah that applies for real life too)

There has to be a worst episode. I like "The Great Divide," but when I compare it to other episodes in the series, I think it is the worst.

Thats a good question, initially he wasn't able to create lightning because of the inner conflict within him but now that he has found inner peace and shown himself to be as strong as Azula, I don't see why not.

we have yet to see him do it though, so far he can only direct it. Iroh and Zuko are also the only people that can redirect lightning, because Iroh made up that move himself.

And Aang. He can redirect lightning now also.
