1st idea

Avatar:The Elementals

This one takes place many many many years in the future(think our technology level) and the ways of element bending are long forgotten.4 people(ages not yet decided) accidently discover their bending abilities(common put in a situation where they use their power without really knowing how they did it) during a bank heist(they're criminals)and realize they can be a powerful supervillain group and take over the city. After using their powers as they see fit and scaring the public,a masked hero who calls himself "The Avatar",a superhero with all four of their abilities combined begins to show up and take them down.(Each villain runs into him on seperate occasions,and he only bends one element at a time against each person,so they think there's a superhero team coordinating attacks against them). So they begin trying to defeat this Avatar before he becomes a real threat to them.

2nd idea

Avatar:Saizo's Reign

Takes place not much longer after the series,just long enough for air benders to start being pretty common. Saizo of the Fire Nation discovers he's the next Avatar. During his travels to master all four elements,he sees many upsetting things that he tries to do something about,but can't. Much to his recent incarnation's resentment,he decides if he wants to bring balance,he has to do it differently than the rest of his people did. He decides to use fear to keep power in check,and anything he thinks might be a threat to world peace is destroyed without mercy. Shortly after his campaign of "peace" begins,Saizo begins getting paranoid,and anything that doesn't agree with him he calls out as treason(keep in mind that Saizo isn't going to be the most mentally stable guy). The four nations see it in their intrest of safety,that Avatar Saizo must be eliminated before he completely master all four elements and gains mastery of the avatar state.

Just some ideas I came up with,opinions appreciated. I might write them,I might not.

When Aang uses waterbending to wash the fire burning the land, there is a cryptic message when the ground begins to show.

What message is this? I couldn't see anything when I looked at the episode again.

Well,I decided if I write one,I'm going with the future idea. Sounds more fun,but I may consider Saizo's Reign for another time.
