    I didn't mean that anybody was excluded in the refuge. (I spend a fair amount of time there as Creagan, but I've had exams, so recently I haven't gone on as much.)

    I just meant that there's deffinate cliques at the refuge. That's not a bad thing. I've just never felt entirely comfortable with them, and I find it difficult to intigrate myself into any spicific group.

    I also agree with your analogy, however, I think that so far, we haven't really been making an effort to save the library from sinking into the sand. We've just kind of watched it slowly decend into the earth- which is why I sugested that we give TV.com one last chance, and then go to the refuge.

    Of course theres cliques just like in any large grouping of most teenage people but the Refuge makes a definite attempt to make everyone feel welcome. Theres so many different sides to the Refuge and different spaces for everyone. If someone really wants to fit in then they'll find a way to. I suggest hanging out in the chatroom when its a slow day and just trying to get to know a few people. Then once you find one friend it kinda snowballs from there. The other thing is if you have MSN, its kind of become one of the key ways for Refuge members to learn more about eachother, so if you have one then posting your add or PMing it to somone that you're starting to know is a really great way to become friends fast.

    Its not gonna be a straight transition from here to there. You might be used to everyone knowing you here but not everyone knows you at the Refuge so its kind of a merging thing. Its even more fun of you drag a buddy along with you :p that way you at least have eachother until you find a nice clique. Some people don't even have cliques, they just float around talking to everyone.

    IDK, just my two cents. And I'm always open to new friends ahahaha

    ok, there seems to be a lot of confusion on what the Refuge is and whether or not its worth the move so as a member there from day one and one of the top 10 posters, I'm offering to answer any Refuge based question based on my experience there. Even if you're at the Refuge and not quite sure about how it seems to all be cliqued together or questions about what goes on behind just the front. Ask away It really is a great place, its just a little different. Faster and more intense, different yet the same. It takes a little bit of getting used to but after awhile it feels like home.

    Why dont we wait and see how things pan out before moving? First off, I have no idea who/what the refuge is, and second, I dont feel like leaving!

    PS. I got into Marist College and I'm shipping off August 28 and my Books 1-3 are coming with me!

    And the refuge is just another forum that WiseLad created so that we could talk to all of the people who were banned from TV.com. Its also a place that a lot of people have gone to since this forum started to slow down.

    Hey, sorry I haven't been on for a couple days. I had exams, and needed to focus on studying.

    If we're going to try to revive this place, we should pick a date we're going to have a sponcered thread, and spread the word at the Refuge.

    um wat about an all week event every day there is a new challenge that we can make available to anyone of course, we could also ask the moderators to un-ban the banned DoD's i.e lisa, nales ect. and we could have like a tourney on the mmorpg see who can get the most points and post it here and the winner gets a prize lol.

    I'm not sure how well getting the banned people go but my guess is not well. btw I'm still waiting for someone to answer my question about what the Disciples of Dragons is.

    I think flutterflight answered that before but Gil, its this group that elects thoughful, respectful, dedicated posters. Its kind of a response to some who come and troll on this forum. Here's the thread for it.
