Thats because most Tokkans are kataangers and we are smart and knew Tokka wouldnt happen and didnt let Tokka not happening ruin the whole finale. That was the best finale ever though!!!
Lawl, I was going to say that. Notice how the old Zutarians are gone! rofl
haha i think they are still moping around.

The worst part about it is, shipping isn't even a main part of the show. If we were talking about the Zoey 101 finale and your ship didn't happen it ALMOST seems justifiable for you to act like that, but in a show where shipping is in NO shape or form the main focus, to me 'mortified' that your ship didn't happen is, frankly, very childish and immature.
That's true. Say like, if Zoey/Chase didn't happen, a lot of people would be upset because that's pretty much the 1st or second most important plot point in the show, and the reason Zoey 101 has most of it's audience. Or, if you were watching Ned's and Ned/Moze didn't happen. Or if you were watching Naked Brothers Band and Nat/Rosalina didn't happen. Or if you were watching The Spectacular Spider-Man and Peter/Gwen didn't happen. Or if you were watching...

who cares if shipping isn't a main part of the show?! If that's why someone watches a show or what they like about it, so be it.

I agree, people watching for action are no more qualified or right to watch it than people who watch it for the shipping.

but people that blind to everything but shipping in the show need to wake up. same with people that say the whole series was bad because zutara didnt happen.

I try to zone them out and continue with my Avatar fanart searching. ( I usually find these canon!zutarians on DA)

The last one doesn't flow well with the others. SSM isn't based on shipping like maybe the other ones. SSM has action and a deeper plot, not to mention that Peter & MJ will probably get together.
Well, I meant in terms of the hints, but yeah, you have a point.
It was also hinted at Peter/MJ too, you know the whole dance thing. But I doubt that'll happen for a while, plus she's dating like everyone.

The nice thing about fiction is that even when the writers write it one way, it does not mean it is the end-all be-all of the story, not to mention that what fans want is really no less right than what the writers create, it is impossible to say Zutara is stupid, and actually defend it, what Zutara is is different, less elaborated, to the point of almost non-existence, and, might I say, a little more romantic than Kataang, something sooo obvious is anti-climatic by the time the end arrives, you have been expecting it for so long it has lost all its romance, all its allure. In the end, you just say "its about time", then turn off your tv.

not to mention they made kataang cliche x10 with cheesy dialogue to go along with it. the little ratty 1st graders that a work with could have written that dialogue. Oh and this isn't an attack on kataang more than an attack on the writers. Tsk.

*sigh* it's getting hard to argue this...but Avatar is written for a TVY7 audience. Of course there are going to be cheesy lines and stuff. The show isn't intended for an older audience(even though alot of the fans are over the intended audience). And to a 7 year old, Zutara makes no sense. Especially since Kataang has been developed the entire series. And if you think there is no passion or romance between kataang...well then that's your opinion. But i really urge you to look at episodes like "the headband".

i never said that. i just said the writing sucked lol. honeslty, katara relationship to Aang seemed too maternal for them to be in a relationship. and yeah, zutara, although dark and awesome, would make no sense to tweens and kids, but it makes sense to me, not so much as a relationship, but as an affair. CANT HAVE THAT THOUGH sigh.

yes i'm quite serious. not the whole show of course. most of it was very eloquent. but the cheesy cheesy dialogue between Katara and Aang regarding their relationship was predicatable and dry. It lacked any sort of substance. THIS IS NOT ATTACK ON KATAANG.
