I love how us Zutarians are supposed to show respect to the other pairings yet we earn none. I know there are some wild and surely crazy Zutarians are out there but - not all of us are like that. The rest of us believe in the ship for it's potential. Whether or not it becomes canon is up to the creators. We just feel that it would be a great pairing. You, Kataangers, don't have to like it or even think that it has a chance. We just ask for RESPECT and in turn, do our best to respect your pairing. Thanks! ^^

I respect Zutarians who are smart and dont ignore the facts and zutarians that keep insisting that zutara is going to happen even though there is no evidence what so ever. You seem like a smart Zutarian which makes me scream with joy because most zutarians insist that zutara is going to happen.

Well, say what you want but I know now more than ever that Zutara will happen. Not for any stupid reasons, I do have very good reasons to believe this. There is too much that I have to go though and explain to show others why I believe that Zutara will happen (even then people will be blinded by their opinions and flame me for it). I have been worried about the ship after the kiss in DoBS, but going though everything that has happened form day one (as well as comparing N & D kiss to DoBS kiss, the chibi shorts and what the creators said) I have come to a strong conclusion that Zutara will happen. Think what you want of me, but I will stand stong by my ship till the end and there after (even if by some Kataang miracle Zutara does not happen, which I STRONGLY dout will happen).

In conclusion GO ZUTARA!!!

As for the kataang proof, we know all about it. We've heard the same stuff a million times before - I'm pretty sure we are all sick of kataang proofs (and old zutara proofs too, I'm sure). Seriously, the creators need to give us some more episodes just so we have some new stuff to argue over, lol.

Hey, let's just hang the Kataang/Zutara battle up for a day or two for once. I mean, I am a Kataanger who shows my respect for Zutara. In fact, my Avatar friends at deviantART are Zutarians. I've even drawn their Zutara spawns (see "Magic Munchkins", "Art Trade - fayedove", "Valentine's Day - fayedove", and "Valentine's Day - Mumy-Chan"). Maybe soon I'll ask fayedove to draw my Kataang spawns. XD
Anyway, on a subject completely unrelated to Kataang or Zutara, if Jet hadn't died, which ship would you prefer? JetxSmellerbee or Smellershot?

If they continue to dislike/hate each other, I will be shocked. That would be an injustice, since we all know that they are both sincere and working toward the same goal. Of course, you can't walk two steps without tripping over some injustice in the real world, but it's generally nowhere to be found at the conclusion of an epic hero story. Plus, there are so many awesome ways that Katara could forgive Zuko that it would be wasteful not to utilize the story potential.

A 6771 word essay on why Kataang will happen. Not mines.
Now Chin (200 indicates the sad expression on Katara's face for Aang after the kiss scene on DOBS. I say it's that she is worried about the safety of Aang but how can you get more convincing?

i have a few comments.
first off, the videos are very well made, i have to say that, i actually reccomend them.

i have to say that it did raise some very good points, and i actually have to think about this.

however, most of what i saw was easily explained away. for example, the whole 6th episode is devoted to the similarities between katara and zuko, yet it starts by saying that they're complete opposites, wtf? complete contradiction. plus i'm 100% certain that you could get any 2 main characters and do the exact same thing, and show that they have similarities.

also, the episode that dealt with aang having to let go of katara forgot one crucial detail; roku had a wife and still became a fully realised avatar, so it is possible that he can have both, a relationship with someone he loves and ultimate glowy kung fu action jesus powers.

and the bit where it says that kataang won't happen because meng didn't get her first pick is stupid, because meng is a minor character put in there for comedic effect in an episode with copious amounts of shipping.

another very weird detail is that they get clips from episodes spread out over various points over various seasons, and put them next to each other to make comparisons, when we all know that when making, for example, 220, the creators weren't thinking about 102 (oma and shu vs zuko and katara's position in the cave).

i think in summary, the videos were looking at very small details that may be foreshadowing, but most probably aren't, when there's much more obvious evidence that you don't need to over analyse the show to see, the video maker is so obsessed with looking at minute details that s/he's neglected the fact that there's only 8 episodes to build a relationship from pure hatred.

but please, i urge everyone to watch them, because i've noticed that it contains almost all zutarian arguments, and it's crucial to the shipping war that the kataang side knows the zutarian argument forwards and backwards.

Good counter-arguments, tomtitan.

I have to disagree with you though on the part about episode 220 and 102. How do we know the creators didn't plot out the positions like that? I'm not saying it's something huge, but it's sort of interesting how both characters are positioned similarly. Of course, none of us know what the real point of that was, if there was any point.

*Laughs at supidity* Are you kidding. Do I need to make a post with a bunch of kataang moments. There are a bunch of those pictures and none for zutara. Zutara is going to happen give me a break. It bothers me that some people can just be so ignorent. Wheres the evidence for zutara. theres all the evidence in the world for kataang but what about zutara. By some kataang miricale that zutara will not happen. Wow its more like the oposite if by a zutara miricle that kataang doesnt happen. You joking I think I need to post my list on why kataang will happen.

List of reasons why Kataang is so going to happen-

1) Kataang has been building up since episode 1 why all of a sudden change it when theres only 8 episodes left.
2) How are Katara and Zuko going to fall in love with each other in 8 episodes when they are so far from it.
3) Katara hates Zuko.
4) Zuko still loves Mai.
5) Kataang has been building up for the whole series. Why would the creators change it and break Aangs little heart. There HAS to be a happy ending. 6) Even if Aang has to let go of Katara to master the avatar state. There still has to be a happy ending so Aang will probably find a way to master the avatar state without letting go of Katara.
7) Katara does like Aang. a. She is always kissing him on the cheak
b. They are always hugging (yes I know that is more of a friendly thing but still)
c. In the Headband when Aang was dancing with Onji Sokka said "hey they look good together" (or something like that) and Katara said "well if that's what you like" and was obviously jealous and showed it when she turned her head real quick bitterly and then looked back at Sokka to see if he had noticed that she was jealous.
d. When Aang asked her to dance in the Headband she was very nervous. And when Aang said "don't worry about them right now it's just you and me" she blushed but was quick to recover.
e. In the day of black sun when Aang kissed her she kissed back at the last moment. If she didn't like the kiss she wouldn't have returned it.
f. When Katara threatened to kill Zuko she said that if she gave any reason to hurt Aang. Key word Aang! If that was just in a motherly way then why didn't she address the whole group? Answer that.

I no for you people who think that the age thing is weird well think about this: The fact that the girl being older than the boy may be awkward but Yue was older than Sokka.
9) The age also doesn't matter as long as they love eachother and get along okay.
10) When I was watching the audio commentary for the day of black sun when Katara and Aang kissed they said that it will probably upset 50% of fans and that they seem to be split on who ends up with Katara. And then one creator said even though Zuko and Katara aren't supposed to be together
11) You may ask why haven't they mentioned the kiss yet. hum. lets think for once. The last 2 episodes have been focused on more important things. They have been busy. Katara and Aang haven't been alone since the day of black sun. It's not like the GAang will be sitting around the camp fire and all of a sudden "Hey Katara, did you like that kiss?" Thats never going to happen. Give it time. I'm sure something will happen since the next episode is a 2 part one.
12) Why break Aang's heart. Seriously.
13) In the fortuneteller when Sokka pointed out that Aang is a great bender Katara did consiter for a moment that he could be the one she was to fall in love with. It does seem to be happening.
14) Also in the fortuneteller, yes some of you said that Aangs future is only filled with a battle and no love don't you remember that at the end whats her name said that he can change his own future like he did with the clouds. I suggest watching that episode again.
15) In the serpant's pass when Aang was trying to not feel anything Katara was very concerned and when he regained his hope she was very happy for him and had tears in her eyes. I think that was a motherly type of care but I also think there was a little bit of love there too.
16) In Bato of the water tribe when Aang gave the necklace back to Katara since the necklace is an engagement necklace they're like engaged now but not really.
17) You may say that Aang will have to let go of his love for Katara so he can gain control over his avatar state. Well Roku gained control over his avatar state and he had a wife.

In the warriors of Kioshi Katara was kind of jealous that Aang was hanging out with a bunch of girls. 19) Also the age thing again. Zuko and Katara are also 2 years apart just like Aang and Katara.
