A true message of hope.
But Avatards aren't new blood. We're old. Older than most living creatures on the planet, in fact. Nick wants to hook people that they can keep watching for years.

BUY IT!!! Also, I still have a sticker from a piece of Avatar gum. It has Appa on it and the air symbol. It also might be a tattoo, but I'm not going to be wearing it anytime soon! |

Although, maybe I'll make my own avatar shirt! |

Consider this thread bumped.
I actually do have something to contribute here that I haven't seen anyone else mention yet.
I live right by the Mall of America, home of the former Camp Snoopy which is now a Nickelodeon theme park. Actually, a more accurate description would be a SpongeBob theme park with fleeting references to the other cartoons. All the Avatar merchandise is from SEASON ONE. That means there is no appearance or mention of Toph ANYWHERE. The Barnes & Noble about 100 feet away has more Avatar DVDs than the gift shop. Compare that with the fact that they went to enough care to include SpongeBob and Patrick's glove balloon in the Rock Bottom ride. That's right, folks. A balloon has more significance than a major character.
Feel free to discuss.

Ugh.. I hate it when they act like Avatar never went past S1. No Toph, Zuko still has his bald pony-tail thing, no Azula. Sokka and Katara are still wearing their S1 clothes.
And yay for B&N. At least they care more than the actual channel that shows Avatar. I mean, what is this crap?! It wouldn't hurt them to acknowledge Avatar, or anything other than SB, even a little bit. Or if it does, I still say they do it.

My solace here is that once all of 'Avatar: Aang's Journey' is on DVD Nick will never ever hold my soul over another Avatar hiatus barrel EVER again.
If Nick pulls its head out of its arse and decides to go ahead and make the three one-hour animated movies, great. If the Shyamalan live action movies are spectacular, even better.
But Nickelodeon can never ever take Avatar away once it's released to DVD. It's ours after that and there's nothing more they can do to us.
Our freedom comes July 29th one way or another.

| Yeah I finished my Avatar T-shirt! Anyone wanna see a picture of it? It's kinda like tomtitan's avatar. If Nick made a professional version of it I'd buy it. |

Do want.
Yes, plz.
Okay here it is. It's zoomed in so it's easier to see. I know it's not the best but I still like it. I based the symbols on the way Iroh drew them in Bitter Work. The symbols underneath are the ones from the intro I copied them best as I could. Yes I know the Air symbol is too far to the left I forgot to add it until it was too late.
