I guess you were frustrated or annoyed when you wrote the post cause the tone of the post seems to be far too harsh. Also in some parts of the post you seem to imply that all the people on these board act in an "immature" way and come here to insult others and start fights, when that certainly is not true. Most posters here are nice and helpful people and do put thought into their posts.

I do agree with you in some parts of the posts because I have to admit when I was lurking here, I was scared to make an account due to the way new posters were treated here. However I don't believe the description of the qualities, of posters in this board, apply to half the people here let alone the whole board.

I disagree with the part I posted in bold. A lot of people insult each other. When people post a pic that says "FAIL" it insults people.

ohhh people who get insulted by that honestly need to stop being so sensitive and get over themselves, because in the real world, no ones gonna treat you like a child.

danmod said he bans no one without a reason, it could be the other staff members.

Okay, what danmod said is all well and good, but answer me this: I received a warning for a "disruptive post" on the Dub the Framegrab thread, and my post was completely relevant to the thread (I had won and I had posted a pic). Now, someone in the thread said that I had to shrink the pic before posting. I just re-read the TOS and it says NOTHING about the size of images on a post (at least, nothing I could find) and I've posted on DTF3 before without shrinking pics and I've never had a problem. So when did that particular rule get tacked on, and who is responsible for making it crystal clear to the users about these new rules that tv.com just seems to love introducing to us without warning?

I too got a TOS about an Overly Large Image that I didn't shrink. The image contributed to the discussion, but was deleted because it caused a scroll bar.

"disruptive post" is totally open to "personal interpretation" not just of mods, but by members reporting

someone might have taken the size of image as "disruptive post"

the rule of "disruptive post" is one that is the Pandora's box that gives many people a headache

A month or so back, someone made claim to have seen something on Avatar that supported their theory about the finale. I quoted it and typed a single word; "When?". The original post had been on topic (ridiculous, but on topic), and I was simply asking when they had seen it in Avatar. I got a TOS for off topic posting. Whoever is supposed to be "examining the facts" seriously needs some help.

that's really ridiculous. There is no reason you should have gotten a TOS violation.

some mods make a difference between "when" and "when did you see this thing that makes you think it would support your theory?" because a 1 word post is a no-no in one of the rules

"letter of the law" vs "spirit of the law"
