I guess you were frustrated or annoyed when you wrote the post cause the tone of the post seems to be far too harsh. Also in some parts of the post you seem to imply that all the people on these board act in an "immature" way and come here to insult others and start fights, when that certainly is not true. Most posters here are nice and helpful people and do put thought into their posts.

I do agree with you in some parts of the posts because I have to admit when I was lurking here, I was scared to make an account due to the way new posters were treated here. However I don't believe the description of the qualities, of posters in this board, apply to half the people here let alone the whole board.

Scared? I don't know what a bunch of Angry Avatards would've done to you. I mean, you got a Cyber Wall and a million Real Life Miles separating you from any Flamers.

Ok scared probably wasn't the best term, how about nervous . I was lurking in the time when the phrase that must not be mentioned was being used in every second thread and people dismissed new people opinion without giving any consideration. Ofcourse back then avatards were suffering from avatar deprival syndrome so some of it was understandable.

Nah. Just Threads, that talk about Mako's Death (A YEAR AFTER IT HAPPENED) are just so understandable.

well, in that case, we talking second anniversary

this is a post I posted once about 6 months ago(and I don't understand why it was put in my moderation queue, when the thread made by another person was what was modded and deleted) '
is my gift to danmod, so he can see many of us want to be reasonable and solve the issues FROM BOTH SIDES, not just the modding

    ---------------------------

we have to be also forgiving

for example if someone starts a thread about Ursa and the white lotus, we should forgive that person for not knowing there is a thread buried in page 3 or deeper than that

and I have noticed many times that some people DO ASK in the pinned ask questions, but it might be like post 3458, and than 3461 starts a new page, and no one notices that question, or many people see a Q that they don't got any idea how to answer, take the time to at least post "i don't got any idea, there has no been enough info in the episodes to answer that questions" instead of not saying anything at all

that is why they do a new thread with a Q, and from time to time those Qs become a real good thread

I am not saying we should give a lot of freedom to people, just saying we should be firm but flexible

Emo, no posts from Danmod for a long while

without his response, we can't get a 2 sided solution, and without it, the other side will not act as it will feel used

Yeah, I've noticed that when Mods and Staff Members post in forums other than the Ask A Mod forum. It'll take them almost an eternity to reply to threads.

we can try be nicer to newbs and noobs and "good trolls" like celestial

not to nasty trolls, and even at that, do it by reports, not by responding to them

I could yell at him again, if you'd like. It goes against what we'd been saying but for some reason the last time I did it, he actually responded.
