If Nickelodeon hired M. Night Shyamalan to make a PG movie... They're 1 plum short of a fruit pie. .-. I have a feeling they're going to allow him to make it in the PG-13 range action and violence wise. There's just no way they're stupid enough to restrict an 'R' movie maker to PG. Especially for a movie like Avatar.

Kid's movies are not my definition of a good time.

So, plz, entertain the fanbase, not the demographic.

Little kids are too easily entertained, thus, making a film with them in mind makes it boring.

Reminds me of when I saw Fantastic Four, a pretty weak movie, but it wasn't as bad as listening to the 8 year old brat behind me explain to his know nothing mom EVERY SINGLE FREAKING DETAIL. "That's the Invisible Woman! She turns invisible."

    Now I don't think I'll be procreating...

'Children in movie theaters' is probably in everyone's top ten list of most annoying things in this world. But you know what's worse than brats that won't shut their mouths? The parents who won't tell them to stfu. Especially the ones that just sit there and don't leave the theater when their baby starts crying.

Aww humanity. You are one selfish, uncaring prick.

Which raises the question of why the hell is a baby in the friggin' theater?

    But I digress...

Too cheap/lazy to hire a baby sitter? But I remember this in "Spider-Man 2."

*Mary Jane/John Jameson kissing scene* Little kids on field trip in front row: Oh yeah, oh yeah...

In all fairness, I along with a 90% of the theater laughed when Peter started crying in Spiderman 3. Tobey McGuire just looks too stupid when he cries. It's almost like he's smiling.

Stereotypical is spelled wrong and the movie wasn't a total failure. Peter was acting the way he did in the comics (to an exaggerated degree) when he got the new suit. My biggest problem with the movie is that it didn't live up to Spider-Man 2, (which in my opinion was the best movie of it's year (The Incredibles being 2nd)) and that Venom hardly did anything, and he was the whole reason for watching the movie. And that they already killed him, and Sandman (?) and now BOTH Green Goblins are dead.

Well that's your opinion. It's like I always say: You're entitled to your opinion, and I'm entitled to my opinion that your opinion sucks.

It's because that screenplay was so crappy. Spidey doesn't even act like Spidey. About how many smart alec quips has he dropped in all the movies combined? Maybe 8 total, almost all when he fought Randy Man Savage in the first one?

Wait, what were we talking about originally? Neural kinetics right? Discussing subatomic particles and their effect on psionic energy...? Or was that zero point energy tesseracts?

not to mention doc oc. for a director that doesnt like killing off the villains, raimi sure has a bad track record

It was, but I love Spidey and I'm biased. Just like I still have some faith that The Simpsons will come back. And how I get annoyed when people nit-pick at Avatar.

EDIT: I love the Hulk too, but that movie sucked. (I'm not talking about the new Hulk movie)

IMO, the reason Spidey 3 failed was because there were too many villains. There was Sandman, Venom and Green goblin 2.0. There should've been only 1 villain. Venom perhaps.

And yeah, emo spidey was lolarious.

    Emo Spider-Man is emo.

New Hulk movie looks awesome though.
