It's the relationship between 2 characters and the shippers are the fans of that relationship. The biggest ones are Kataang (Katara/Aang) and Zutara (Zuko/Katara). Their are TONS of different kinds, but these 2 are dealing with WWIII right now, lol |
Compared to other shows, the shipping rivalry here is very polite, IMO.

She's simply stating things from Toph's viewpoint as it is in the series. Jessie doesn't care about ships and didn't know about them until the interview, so her statements are more coming from the standpoint of what the directors told her in terms of why her character is crushing on Sokka's character. For the record, I seriously doubt Tokka will actually happen, unless the series goes beyond the three book arc and Toph, y'know, grows up and Sokka somehow notices . . . |
