And the Toph: "He's lying" line was probably the best line in the show to date.

I really, really doubt that Jet will die.

We've seen cliffhangers for characters before- Iroh getting hit by lightning- and this seems pretty similar.

Come on... Longshot 'mercy killing' Jet? It's a Nick toon, and that's far too harsh, even if only implied.?? Perhaps there will be confirmation in the next few episodes, but in any case, I will be quite surprised if Jet actually does die.

What?, it would be better!: it would turn a traumatic moment for the kids into a funny one and teach kids about human anatomy and what smooth-muscles do after death.

He's only dead if you see a grave. Even then, I'd dig it up to make sure.

Adron, all I see in that pic is Jet lying on the ground. So how does that say he's surely dead? If he was stuck through the rock like a hotdog through a stick, then I'd be convinced.

That new pic shows Longshot CLEARLY readying to defend Jet and Smellerbee in case any more Dai Li arrive. And that bit about Smellerbee 'closing Jet's eyes' is ludicrous- you can't tell it from here. Well, anyway, it remains to be seen if Jet really bites it, but I think he'll be back.

If you look at the scene carefully, Smellerbee is putting her hand to Jet's forehead and moving it back and forth.

Jet got pounded by several hundred pounds of high-velocity rock. I don't think anyone would survive. Then again, no one has really thought about what Long Shot was pointing his arrow at. It looked like the back door, but that makes no sense. I think Jet was vulnerable and Long Shot was aiming at the door in case any enemies came in.
