Is Azula a Sociopath?

    I've thought??Azula might be a sociopath??for a while now. I was wondering what other peopel think. do you think she a sociopath or she's mentally unstable or if it's her father's influence.Please discuss.

    Yeah, Azula being a sociopath has been suspected for quite a while now. I defenitely think it fits.

    Yea Azula is just a psyco But I still luv her character she's so evil

    considering the uncarring and off hand way she mentions both her own mothers disappearence and the death of her grandfather, even using the events to taunt Zuko...yeah I would definatly say she's a sociopath, she was even smiling when Azulong was threatening Ozai.

    Yeah, she even smiled when her father burned her own brother. Can't get pyscho-er.

    Anyway, I looked it up and what she is technically called a sadist, not a sociopath. Either way, I think daddy dearest is one too.

    No, I don't think Zhao fits the description of a sociopath. There's a difference between being a villan and actually being a sadist or sociopath.

    She's just pure evil, call her what you want but most likly she is the devils spawn so yeah, she's crazy, enjoys suffering, pain and tormenting Zu Zu so yeah, she's a sociopath, a psychopath and anything else that even remotly relates to being evil and insane.

    exactly, she's just really really evil... i dont think she's mentally unstable or anything like that. she's really intelligent if u ask me. she always stays calm and she never lets her pride take over and spoil everything for her. thats why i believe that she will leave and flee if she finds out that people are just to strong for her, like that time during ''The Chase''. its not the fact that she's so darn strong that worries me, its her intelligence and cool/relaxed thinking. she just want to get the job done, and if that means that she has to keep avoiding frontal fights with the avatar because he might be to strong(after he learned how to control the avatar state), she'll just try to kill/defeat him with sneak attacks.

    Azula isn't evil, as she doesn't do anything for pleasure. She is strictly business and only does the wishes of the Fire Lord. She has never gone out of her way to commit an evil act. It's true that she has no remorse, but that is due to intense training and brainwashing, neither of which are her fault. I am unsure of if we know the real Azula.

    All I know is: the Azula we've met, the strict professional and hurt machine, ...is a real ****.

    nope... why else was she teasing Zuko with the death of their mother, and why else was she laughing when Zuko got banned and burned by his own father? as far as i can see, she was the only one smiling when these things occured

    I don't think she's crazy. I think she's very smart. The one thing about her is she is overconfident. She will get close to her goal, but will fall short of it.

    She was raised by a cruel father. She's always been living up to his image. If Azula was evil she wouldn't have threatened the captain of her vessel (Azula's vs. the rocks' sympathy speech), she would have killed him outright (and slowly) then promoted his next in line. Aside from mocking her brother and trying to pull him onto the side of thier father, she hasn't really done anything that you can describe as purely evil.

    she did the things i just said zzzz...
    she cant just kill everyone she doesnt like, because she probably gets the best of the best. this includes her captain... she cant just kill them.
    and she tried to kill her own uncle and brother btw... i know its her job, but she seems to like it

    lol i dont know... but everyone knows what u mean. but she's not ''emotionless'', she's conscienceless (omg, im starting to look like you haha!). she enjoyed it when her brother got burned by their father, so she DOES have certain emotions.
