I'm Fed Up -- Prove Zutara to Me

    I'm a little fed up with people and Zutara. I know you have a freedom to do what you want, but I'm finally speaking up and asking the question:

    Prove to me that Zutara exists.

    Thank you for at least noticing this, and I am aware that people can like Zutara, but I would just like a little proof. This is not a flaming thread, just an explanation one.

    Hehehe, no prob! You do have a good point though. There really isn't any proof that Zutara exists, but that can easily change! Ha! In fact, seeing how the writers like to mess with our minds, Katara will probably ditch Aang and Zuko and get together with Haru or something!

    Yeah, I don't know either! Probably because they have opposite elements and that whole opposites attract.....yeah, I myself prefer Zutara but only because Aang is too young... well in my opinion anyway!

    It's not about proving Zutara, its about disproving Kataang. If you watch the episode "The Fortuneteller" you will notice that the entire episode is about how Katara doesn't like Aang. I don't see how you could think it proves it. Just watch the episode with the idea that Katara doesn't like Aang in your head, and it will make sense.

    There's no real proof just yet, but the whole possibility of the Yin and Yang opposites attract theory is popular. It's not that Kataang isn't cool, and it's not that Zutarians HAVE to have proof, it's just seeing different, less likely possibilities that excites some fans of the show (me).

    So far, ships aren't about proof. Ships are about the idea of two characters together, and most Zutarians like the idea of Zuko and Katara. Sure, we know it probably will never happen in the show, but with the new preview no one even knows yet. However, there are some subtle instances in some episodes that Zutara fans have dug up as proof, like when Zuko didn't deny that Katara was his girlfriend (unlike with Jin), kept her from falling off the shirshu by putting a hand on her butt (alright, it was near the waist, but we can dream), and the fact that Zuko was offering to give her a betrothal necklace. But in the end, we never really know what's true until future episodes come out. And by the looks of the second preview, Kataang won't be doing too well.

So I can't see why Katara wouldn't like Aang. Its your opinion though

    oh no, tjtechi, you have no idea what you have just done. You will soon have the wrath of all Zutatrians on you, and they will be shoving every tiny detail that slightly hints at Zutara down your throat. Btw, I don't like any form of shipping, EVEN shipping and handeling (man, why do they have to make u pay so much just so u can have ur electrical kettle delivered safetly)

    You're talking about the hints that Katara likes Aang, but just consider it. He???s the only boy that???s been with her for this entire time. They???ve been together for two seasons, there aren???t any other boys in the gang that she could possibly like. (Sokka is her brother.. ) They???ve trained together, traveled together, (I wouldn???t say sleep together, but then again, they kind of do), fought together??? Kataang will always be obvious, but only out of necessity.

    I think Aang will learn how to control the avatar state, then he heads to Ba Sing Se to save Katara from Azula or the Dai Le and when everything is over he will tell her how he feels and then Kataang will happen

    there will not be any shipping with Zuko till the very final of this show. if they'd ship him, they would destroy the ''magic'' of Zuko and his past.

    Not to mention the voice actors who play Zuko, and Katara are a ship in a different show. I don't support any ship inpertickler. I just like to stir things up.

    Zutara is the idea of the beautiful Water Tribe peasant Katara who lost her mother to the Fire Nation and is now a Waterbending Master and love interest to the Avatar; paired with the banished Firebending Fire Nation prince who is hunting the Avatar. Yeah, it SOUNDS nice. But I have never been able to picture such opposites together. And with Katara's new attitude in season 2, its even more difficult for me to imagaine.
    There has been DOZENS of hints to Kaatang, even entire episodes dedicated to this pairing. Sure, Katara is too... preoccupied to notice Aang's affections for her, but its obvious that Aang likes her. He has said that he loves her afterall. Whereas Zutara, has not had ONE SINGLE mention for almost TWO ENTIRE SEASONS OF THE THREE PLANNED SEASONS.
    There is no point to argue with Zutaraians until Kataang finally happens or until Katara finally notices how much Aang likes her.
    Personally, I think that Zuko won't end up with anyone in the show. You don't have to find your lifelong love when you're 16 and going through serious emotional issues during a war.
