HE IS A FOOL! or perhaps a genius? He's still my favorite character, but what could he possibly get from being allied with azula?! |
I thought I couldn't, but I can. I'm willing to bet that Zuko will betray Azula, and WILL bend lightening back to her, killing her.?? If he joined the group, then we wouldn't see the turmoiled Zuko we all know and love.
Plus, everybody loves PLOT TWISTS!
I was really stunned by Zuko's betrayal, I mean, I so thought he was gonna join Aang and company! And I was really starting to /LIKE/ him too... But, I'll still cling to the belief that in the end, he'll make the right choice...I hope.

i was so surprised...HOW COULD ZUKO DO THAT?!?!?!?!?! I think that Iroh will def. teach Aangie firebending as soon as he is done mastering the avatar state.. |

In his dream the blue dragon and red dragon both try to convince him of something and then he sees his mom and gets sucked into the nothingness... hello, the blue dragon:azula the red dragon:iroh. The only thing I cannot remember (did it even happen???) is who he listened to. Wasn't it the blue dragon?... |

Hah, me too. I was shocked right after I saw that part, but after thinking about it, he can't have seriously turned to the bad side... Everything points that he's planning something/will turn good eventually. Zuko = bad, impossible! |

WHAT A FOOL! I bet Katara will never forgive him. |
I still say he's innocent. He and Iroh were left alone during the start of the fight scene, who says they didn't get a plan? Look for the little things. It's like in scary movies, when a creepy??shadow is following someone, then you never see or hear about that person again....You don't KNOW know, but you can guess what happened to them.
I don't think that Zuko would willingly betray Iroh, who thinks of him as a son and has been there for him??no matter what. He probably decided it would be better to help Azula now and get her later than to attack her AND the Dai Lee. Even with Iroh and the kids, it wouldn't have been an easy battle.

Yeah, and it had no plot momentum towards it either.???? I feel like Mike and Bryan just ripped off Star Wars.?? Except at least Anakin had an actual, real, motivation behind his evil choice-- his desire to protect his loved ones-- and only after the choice was made??did??his actions begin to??fuel his lust for power and control.?? Zuko... what's his excuse???? He has never seemed to lust for power, he knows that Azula lies, she tried to kill him...??Zuko felt really bad for Katara and was sweet to her and the tries to off her??? And also his uncle, mentor, and only true friend????? Way to go, Genius.?? I'm sure daddy will welcome you with open arms.???? |
i cant forgive him either, but i aang will. and his excuse is for his father's love...not tat he's ever going to get it...lol. sorry handsome.

This is just what the writers want. What a brilliant move! Zuko joins the dark side and leaves his Uncle behind. Make the whole Avatar fandom despise Zuko! I'm not being sarcastic. I still can't believe he turned his back on Iroh though. He's been there for him his entire life, and well, as he best said it "Azula always lies." But I guess he really wants his father to accept him. Maybe it's all part of some elaborate plan for Zuko to help Aang defeat the Fire Lord from the inside? Ahhh...we'll see. At this point I am fed up with Zuko myself. He's still gullible as ever. Just shows though how powerful Azula really is, and I'm not talking just physically. |
