He's still my favorite character, but what could he possibly get from being allied with azula?!

Father's acceptance. You know, the thing he's been searching for, for 2 seasons?!

How the hell do you people miss these things? And this is coming from someone who misses a lot.

This is like Ed Elric's first mistake in FMA. Zuko, for once, isn't someone who's a victim of his father, or his upbringing. He chose to side with Azula, and it's his responsibility for it. He has to redeem himself, no one else.

I thought I couldn't, but I can. I'm willing to bet that Zuko will betray Azula, and WILL bend lightening back to her, killing her.?? If he joined the group, then we wouldn't see the turmoiled Zuko we all know and love.

    Plus, everybody loves PLOT TWISTS!

I was really stunned by Zuko's betrayal, I mean, I so thought he was gonna join Aang and company! And I was really starting to /LIKE/ him too... But, I'll still cling to the belief that in the end, he'll make the right choice...I hope.

This is just what the writers want. What a brilliant move! Zuko joins the dark side and leaves his Uncle behind. Make the whole Avatar fandom despise Zuko! I'm not being sarcastic. I still can't believe he turned his back on Iroh though. He's been there for him his entire life, and well, as he best said it "Azula always lies." But I guess he really wants his father to accept him.

Maybe it's all part of some elaborate plan for Zuko to help Aang defeat the Fire Lord from the inside? Ahhh...we'll see.

At this point I am fed up with Zuko myself. He's still gullible as ever. Just shows though how powerful Azula really is, and I'm not talking just physically.

**Sends millions of angry, rabid fangirls in serch of Zuko** FIND HIM AND FIND OUT WTF WAS GOING THROUGH HIS HEAD RIGHT THEN!!!!!!!!!!!!
His uncle is the ONLY one who's been there for him no matter what! When he was banished, who was there? IROH! When his ship blew up, who helped him get revenge? IROH! When Azula tricked him the first time about coming home, who tried to talk sence into him?? IROH!! When he was declared an official enemy of the fire nation and all that, who was right there with him? IROH!!!!!!!!!!!!
Zuko, how could you do that?!!? Not only to US, but to HIM!!!

In his dream the blue dragon and red dragon both try to convince him of something and then he sees his mom and gets sucked into the nothingness... hello, the blue dragon:azula the red dragon:iroh. The only thing I cannot remember (did it even happen???) is who he listened to. Wasn't it the blue dragon?...

I have a feeling that Zuko is planning to do a suprise attack on Azula. He didn't betray uncle, he just had to get Azula to trust him.

Yp...Then think of his OTHER dreams! If that one was a foreshadowing-ish thingy, what was the one wherehe looked like Aang?? ...More foreshadowing, perhaps??

Hah, me too. I was shocked right after I saw that part, but after thinking about it, he can't have seriously turned to the bad side... Everything points that he's planning something/will turn good eventually. Zuko = bad, impossible!

Zuko's too hot to be bad...What, me and millions of other fangirls just CAN'T be wrong!!
Anywho, Zuko is not allowed to be evil. That would basically be saying "Let's just hope all the fans who saw how Zuko was maturing and growing up will just foget this season."!!

I still say he's innocent. He and Iroh were left alone during the start of the fight scene, who says they didn't get a plan? Look for the little things. It's like in scary movies, when a creepy??shadow is following someone, then you never see or hear about that person again....You don't KNOW know, but you can guess what happened to them.

I don't think that Zuko would willingly betray Iroh, who thinks of him as a son and has been there for him??no matter what. He probably decided it would be better to help Azula now and get her later than to attack her AND the Dai Lee. Even with Iroh and the kids, it wouldn't have been an easy battle.

Yeah, and it had no plot momentum towards it either.???? I feel like Mike and Bryan just ripped off Star Wars.?? Except at least Anakin had an actual, real, motivation behind his evil choice-- his desire to protect his loved ones-- and only after the choice was made??did??his actions begin to??fuel his lust for power and control.?? Zuko... what's his excuse???? He has never seemed to lust for power, he knows that Azula lies, she tried to kill him...??Zuko felt really bad for Katara and was sweet to her and the tries to off her??? And also his uncle, mentor, and only true friend????? Way to go, Genius.?? I'm sure daddy will welcome you with open arms.????

i cant forgive him either, but i aang will. and his excuse is for his father's love...not tat he's ever going to get it...lol. sorry handsome.

He might not be being guliable. Everyone knows by now that nothing on the show is what it seems, so how do we know this isn't jus another twist? Imagine how shocked everyone would be if in the season premiere we see Azula making rounds one night on her lovely prisoner Iroh to see that he's gone, and her dear brother's split with him? Or that he's just working with her to betray her, getting the sweet revenge that he's wanted for so long?

I'm sticking to my beliefs that Zuko's good. He's naive. He doesn't always think his actions through.

But for god's sakes, he's no idiot.
