Just a question I would like to see answered by the many fans of Avatar. How much does it mean to you? Sure, it's just a show, but we've all been SUPER dedicated to have waited this long for new episodes, so when it comes right down to it, how much do you really care? Would you do something drastic if Nick decided to drop the series? (I know it's impossible but just think here for a minute, maybe if everyone watched it online and they ot low ratings...) Have you written fanfiction as I have? Have you devoted months to speculation? Have you drawm fan art? Have you drawn pictures? Have you waited all day on a friday night to come home to see your favorite show?

This thread is for everyone to talk, just to talk, about how much Avatar REALLY means to them.

It is more than just a kid's show.

Avatar does have a significant value in my eyes, and I really think it's had impacts upon my life that I've not even realized on my life. As for what I would do if it where cancelled (though by this point I'm pretty sure it's imposable) I would probably just keep here until the final episodes are leaked to the Internet or at lest get some answer from the craters. It's odd how avatar has just had so, so many small ties to just most good thing in my life. Such as I'm currently listening to Bob Dylan and I really got into a lot of music from that ear becsue of one of the users on this site (which I came to becsue of avatar), much of that music has had major impact on me wishing work with music. So going by that logic if I become successful because of music I can say it all started with avatar. Avatar opened my eyes to many things (directly and indirectly) it's crazy how my life has been changed by just a simple 30min cartoon.

At first just s an animated show that it very good, but it went beyond that, as i started to think deeply on who i am and what i want [not because of Iroh's speech, i just started to wonder] i noticed something, many of the things i truely believe in, were shown on Avatar, Iroh's wisedom made me get to my current perspective of justice, of how i should live, and what i would want in my future, altough it didn't affect 100% on all my person, it did have the most influense anything or one had on me.

Basically everything I have ever wanted in a TV show, that no other show has ever given.

    Sorry if that sounded lame.

Dedication is something that comes easy to me when I find something worthwhile. I waited almost 2 years after the "official release date" to read Planet Ladder because Tokyopop felt like taking forever and I still read that series over... and over again. So if you're impressed by me sitting for new episodes of avatar then you'll be floored to know all the years I've been waiting for more Lunar games and to add frustration Lunar DS wasn't that good. In the end I just like it (except shipping) and some aspects, like Iroh, move me to like it even more.

It's one of the best cartoons ever made. It may very well be the best, but I'm holding off on final judgment until I see the finale.

Until then I recommend everyone (besides children) to play GTAIV to pass the time. In fact, why I'm not playing it this very second is beyond me.
