How about the Disney death "Hangs himself despite hero's protest that he's endangering his life by attacking?" or "eaten by a scary little cute bird?" Those ones were awesome.

The way I see it the only way it could actually happen if azula is actually defeated and mean really defeated by someone i.e. badly beaten or in a better sense defeat her at her strongest point. Like if zuko turns azula's own lightening against her. Overall I think that one of the main reasons azula is the way she is, is because her mother never loved her the way she did zuko. Sure azula had her father, but was that really love or just her father using azula for his own personal gain? maybe azula's attitude towards becoming a perfectionist was all a ploy to impress her mother?

Maybe It'll come down to something like this:

Azula and Zuko end up together having a one on one duel. Perferably in the rain. Azula throws her lightning at zuko and zuko ends up redirecting it at azula. Azula is totally shocked by this and has sustained massive injuries. Zuko is not willing to kill her off so he takes her to a cave or somewhere dry and tend to her wounds. Azula will start to cry and shout something like "why did mom love you so much, what did she ever never love me! I was the better. I was better at..... Why? Tell me Why!?" Eventually this will be one of the first steps for azula's road towards helping aang or atleast helping her brother or even less specific: her road towards being good.

Exactly what i was thinking Man got write this down FANFIC!!

Okay here goes, my speculation and basis for my fanfic (soon to be posted).?? Zuko startes to get the whole universal wisdom thing, creates some new firebending techniques, when he faces azula again he owns her but in exactly 4 moves when he redirects her lightning back at her she suffers sme heavy injuries, Zuko uses the escape tecnique and carries azula into the wilds.?? Takes care of her makes batch after batch of burn salve,?? And slowly she begins to regain consciousness, as she does she realizes what is happening to her and she tries to hurt Zuko.

ENOUGH I Just gonna post a link latter on.?? There will Be a naughty and a nice version.

The escape technique is the same one that azula used in the chase, and Jeong Jeong used in the Deserter

Really my favorite ending or character deaths are:
1 Death in a Duel of fates
2 Self sacrifice to sve the ones you love
3 Dying for the sake of freedom
4 Beig frozen in a block of ice for all eternity

Ps If iroh is going to die it should be a self sacrifice thing
Pss if Azula is going to die it should be after losing the duel to zuko and dying in his arms while he sings to her (yes zuko has a good singing voice he is just to grim to use it)

I remember I DB/Z/GT it was a common theme to transmute evil enemies into good guys, allies, and friends of the main characters. I found that far more rewarding then just defeating them, it required a lot more work in plot structure and depth to convert characters then just to simply and unoriginally defeat them. I won???t be unhappy if they kill off azula, but I will be unimpressed.

Yeah but that is exactly what their doing with zuko...

Very true but she does not have the seed of love in her heart i think that someone (hopefully Zuko) would have to plant it.

Well they have never shown us anything about azula, she seems like a very one dimensional villain right now, they have not show us what is the root of her evil and if its reversible.

Here is an idea, what if after azula dies, she becomes some kind of benign spirit, after death she realizes her wrongs. Maybe zuko meets up with her in a vision quest and they make up.

Sexist or not, I agree that often in the media women are always shown the error of thier ways, turn out to be fickle and waffle for the side of good easily. Look at Beatrix in FF9, Edea in FF8, ...all I have are Final Fantasy examples.

I'd rather Azula go out on her own terms in a scary end. Like turning herself into a nuclear blast.

Good points. Azula is calm and collected, something I would love to see shattered.

Here is some of my own speculation:

    1.
It's going to be Iroh vs. Azula, and Azula cheats and wins. Then Zuko gets revenge and we have a bad ass firebender fight. Azula hs already seen Iroh deflect her lightning, and has trained for it, but without Irohs wisdom of keeping it away from her heart. Zuko takes the hit from Azula, returns it to her. She takes it, after studying Iroh, and mimics the move. But she sends it to her heart and she goes out of control, letting her own power consume her and burn her out.

    2. Why does Iroh take Azula directly? SERIOUS speculation.
We've seen that in her youth Azula is cunning and evil and well-versed in manipulation.
So.... we get a flashback to the past...

she sends Lu Ten a return gift from the family, thanking him for Iroh's gift that they had received during "Zuko Alone". However, the gift is poisoned, and it weakens Lu Ten and he dies in combat. Azula knows how heartbroken Iroh would be from the loss. Azula schemes to have her father take Iroh's place as Firelord, and putting herself in position to become the ruler after her father dies.
Somehow Iroh finally puts it together it was Azula behind his son's death, and they have it out.

As bright and evil as Azula is, I wouldn't give her that much credit. Interesting though, had she been a teenager at the time I would accept it easily.

That's why I think Azula's treachery and evil is worse than we have seen so far. And why it's important for the show to reamin about kids. No one would suspect a child of committing such evil. Azula was bright enough back then to understand that.

Not to mention ick and twisted. She is an evil ambitious wich bent over power. She would endanger her own friends and shun her own family for the sake of power. I have a feeling she killed Ursa too, just a hunch.

Personnally i would love to see Zuko defeat Azula, then save her sorry butt, tend to her wounds and crack her icy heart wide open, not to mention confuse the hell out of her.?? After which she kinda sorta starts to open up, to Zuko only, if they were not siblings i could see them getting together in the series.?? And maybe if the creators a twisted as much as I am they would have them get together anyway , enough of my ramblings LET THE BURNING BEGIN.
