Future of Avatar: San Diego Comic Con

    It has yet to be confirmed that Avatar will continue with a spin-off...

    Also... I'm not exactly sure that they actually stated that they are NOT making a season 4. They just stated that they planned from the beginning to make 3 seasons. They just made a parody clip of fan art about the ships that was titled Book 4: Air . Please correct me if I'm wrong about the whole confirmation about the season 4 thing, I'm just basing that off of the SDCC videos I've watched, and the interviews I've read. They also never confirmed the minisodes, so that is still up in speculation right now

    We are still waiting for more information regarding the future of Avatar; the SDCC didn't really reveal all that much.

    If there's anything a true Avatar fan should know, it is how patient. We're all in for the potential of another long wait. We just need to stay dedicated to the series and wait for further confirmation. If you read one of my posts one or two pages ago, it explains somewhat of what happened at the SDCC 08 Avatar Panel, and some of my thoughts about it.

    The fate of Avatar is still a little unclear.

    No I'm serious. Mike and Bryan were pretty vague and didn't exactly answer questions with a direct answer. All we know that we have to look forward to now are the movies (confirmed), the crazy game (confirmed), and the DVD tomorrow (definitely confirmed).

    We just need to keep the fandom interested for as long as we can, and we've been doing a pretty sweet job. Why? If you look on the home page for tv.com, we're still number one. Keep this up!

    The future of Avatar lies in the hands of (good) fan fiction writers at the moment. But until Bryke go "SURPRISE! MINI-SERIES/CONTINUATION SPECIAL!1!!11!!eleven" we have the game and movies to look forward to. :F

    They were extremely vague....

    So I am treating it like all the other TV shows I love, something worthy of spending my money to complete my DVD collection.

    I will still be an active member of these forums, regardless of Avatar's fate, or at least until they completely stop with the franchise (movies end, games stop, ect..)

    I have TV.com as my homepage anyway

    Yes they were extremely vague about their plans for Avatar, which can lead one to contemplate the current possibilities of Bryke keeping their plans under wraps for a reason (trying to build up hype and speculation then make a new release), or they simply don't have any plans regarding the future of Avatar. I have a more detailed post like this on page 30 or 31, I can't remember .

    Also, I don't think I'll be leaving here until this forum becomes a wasteland, that is if it ever does. I also stop onto the Avatar Refuge every so often and read up on things there. I still need to really customize my account over there ; I never set up an Icon, sig, etc .

    Meh, it's not neccessarily telling us that it's the end, just that it was a perfect ending . That is if this is the ending >_> (looks around for Bryke)...

    well, avatar will forever live on. honestly. i dont care if im the last on this thread. but i will stick to avatar. even after the minisodes and whatnot.

    There is actually a link to the Avatar Refuge on Wiselad's page. Just scroll down to one of his blog posts. It gives all the info on what to do if you want to join it. It's pretty cool over there, I'm still getting acquainted though .
