I want to go to next season COMIC CON.

And it's quite interesting, comic con.

Do you guys think they will elaborate more on part one of the movie next time? Or will M & D sit the next one out?

They aren't going to start a new avatar series. But the live action movie is coming in 2010, so that's something to look forward to in the comicon.

thats not exactly true....they said "we have more stories to tell about the avatar universe" in interviews......so i think there will be a new series about the next avatar or a past avatar...idk

Yeah, they have never stated that they are not going to continue with more series, or even a continuation of the current series. They also stated that this will not be there last time at the SDCC, and that they will be returning to next year's SDCC to present another Avatar Panel. Right now, anything can happen, even a season 4. They never stated that they are not going to make one, just because they concluded the current story, doesn't mean they can't/won't continue A:TLA. They were very vague and ambiguous about their answers at the Comic; they didn't really answer some of the questions concerning the future of Avatar, which can lead one to be suspicous of their plans.

All that we can do right now is wait for more confirmation about the future of Avatar. We'll have to wait again, just as before. No matter how long it takes, we still stay dedicated .

NYC Comic-Con is before the SD Comic-Con, so I imagine they could make an announcement there.

*sigh* We still have to wait an exceedingly long amount of time. At least there's still a possibilty that the minisodes are coming out next year in Spring and Fall!

Oh and just a reminder to everyone:
    VOLUME FOUR HAS ARRIVED!

XD No. I mean the DVD! I know about the whole "Book 4: Air" joke. I mean the actual, full blown, last Avatar DVD before the box set. It's even posted on the "New DVDs" section on the homepage of tv.com. I hear that there is a full creators talking about the finale on it while the episodes are showing, like the other DVDs, but it still seems promising!

Just a reminder, and just because I feel like posting this

The box set will be released on Sept 16th. For all those that don't want to buy the individual DVDs and are waiting for the better deal that comes with the bonus disc.

I'm pissed off about that bonus dick. I already ordered the last season 3 DVD before I heard about that one.

Yea. I just got home from work, and my friend who got me into Avatar got his Book 3 Fire Volume 4 (The finale). We are convinced that Mike and Bryan are keeping their options open because NO WHERE on the box (including the celophane and stickers ) do the words, series finale appear. In fact, the only mention of a finale is "Includes the epic Book 3 Finale !"

    One can only wonder...

I thought that saying that it's a season finale was more Nick's idea than Bryke's. Because I don't remember Nick ever saying that any of their shows' finales were, well, finales. I guess they think that 7-11 year olds can't comprehend that a series can actually end... or maybe it's Nick that can't comprehend that.

Or, they realize how much of a cash cow Avatar is and when they decide they need more money, they can start it up again....

It is over. Accept it and move on. The best we can hope for are the (unconfirmed) mini-episodes or the (unconfirmed) hour-long movies. There will be no new season featuring the Gaang.
