I think everyone here (well.. most reasonable people anyways) would like to see the gang back in action in a new fantastic adventure, rather than some new characters. : D |

I'd watch another season of avatar with the same characters if only for the fact that I haven't gotten enough of good Zuko yet. I've been waiting for good Zuko to show up ever since the Blue Spirit, and now that they've given him to us for the last 10 episodes I don't want to let go. |
well bryke was planning to make him good earlier in the original plans but they decided not to

Am I the only one here that would be okay if there is a spin-off series about a whole new group of characters? I mean, yes I think I would be happier if they stuck to the original ones, but if they decided to make it deifferent, does anyone else have enough faith in Bryke to realize just how much talent they have? |

Yeah they said that in the commentaries... but they said that they decided not to because it was something he really had to earn and struggle for. |

See how realistic they are? Now do people have faith enough in them? |

Just did a quick search on the Comic Con Site. Here is the listing for the Avatar Panel in their program for Friday, July 25:
7:30-9:15 Nickelodeon Avatar: Sozin's Comet— Executive producer and creator team Bryan Konietzko and Mike DiMartino have built one of the most astonishingly complex and beautifully animated series in television with Nickelodeon's Avatar: The Last Airbender. Join Bryan, Mike, and Avatar director Joaquim Dos Santos (G.I. Joe Microseries) for a viewing of the exciting back-half of the Avatar season finale, "Sozin's Comet: Into the Inferno" and "Sozin's Comet: Avatar Aang," followed by a Q&A with the team as they discuss the rich mythology of the series, as well as a costume contest and fan art contest! Moderated by Roland Poindexter, VP, Nickelodeon original programming, animation. Room 6CDEF
Now, I raise this question, yet again: Why would institutions like Comic Con International, and even Viacom itself use the words season finale instead of series finale ?
I guess that you could count the movies, but everyone assumes the animated series for now....
And I just remembered that there was a time difference from New York to San Diego, which means I won't get info until the 26th !
AHHHHH
