Am I the only one here, or are we all pathetic little obsessed low-lifes? BTW, we all should be hoping for a spin-off instead of a new Avatar World series. Cause of they would chose for the last one, it would take like another 3 years before we'd see anything of that (because of the live action movies and all). This would mean that I would STILL be as obsessed as I am right now at that time! I can already see myself at a 80 year old age telling the reporter on TV how it was like during the Avatar Depression at the beginning of the 21th century... NOT GOOD!

Well, You still have the live action movie to look forward to indeed. If you need something to quell your Avatar obsession, just go to my lulz album. I have so much avatar fandom invested in that, it is enough to overpower your obsession, maybe if you give it a chance.

Thanks! I'm giving it a look right now

This obsession is completely something that seems impossible to fix. I have NEVER been this obsessed in my LIFE.

Even after more than a week since the sad, sad end...look at us! We're still the number one show, the number one fandom, and still are as obsessive as ever! The cure to this massive AWS? MORE AVATAR.

Right now we need to constantly look at Avatar art, stories, anything. Does anyone keep thinking about Avatar?

And look at me! My collection of Avatar merchandise has never grown so much in one week! (I've gotten the air, earth, and Sozin's Comet books, and I have gotten a DVD!) I'm not even done!

You know, if we'll keep buying stuff, Nick might finally see that they could actually make a nice profit out of more Avatar!

Ow, wait... Nick might finally see? Nvm, I've been hitting the cactus juice again. (never get's old, a true classic )

I haven't been on thiss thread in awhile, and I want to know if anything happened at the comic con. All I know is that there was a joke about season four. I've seen the video already.

My problem is I got obssessed with Harry Potter like a year ago and when I finished the series I was so depressed for like a month (there are toher factors though: my best friend moved to another state and i was going horrible in gymnastics) but then when I became obsessed with Avatar it was like boom and i didnt care much about harry potter (i still want to see the movie really bad though) and then like at the beggining of June I got tired of waiting on Avatar and I started reading Naruto (the manga I dont have cartoon network so i cant watch the show) and I became obssessed with that then I saw the avatar finale commercal and it was like bam and i was so excited for the finale. and when it was over I was only depressed for one day (naruto helped alot) now Im obssessed with avatar (still) and naruto.

If we did. There'd be about 30 threads about it.

Avatar is definitely NOT DONE! They will be back for another season!!!

They must come back if you understand the Chakras and Elements and what the co-creators were trying to teach.

    Book 4: AIR

The Avatar Story is all about the CHAKRAS as taught by Aang's GURU.

The energy travels up the spine starting with Earth in the Root Chakra, then Water in the Second Chakra, then Fire in the Third Chakra, then AIR in the Fourth Chakra.

    Therefore, after FIRE, comes AIR.

Book 4 must be about AIR. This is the wonderful HEART CHAKRA and is all about PEACE and LOVE. (AANG & KATARA)

After AIR, then comes AKASHA/ETHER in the Fifth Chakra. AKASHA is the sum total of earth/water/fire/air. AKASHA is the Fifth Element which produces all those below it.

Book 5 must be about AKASHA/ETHER

Books 6/7/8 must be about Mahat (Three Gunas) also known as the Spirital Elements of the 6th, 7th, and 8th Chakras.

To master the super Avatar State Aang must deal with not just the physical elements (earth, water, fire, air) but he must also master the spiritual elements beyond the physical.

    Don't worry........Avatar will return...........I promise!!!

    ONE!

Yeah, let's be real. What ever happens next more than likely won't have Aang as the star anymore. Their adventure is over.

Sorry, Cosmism, but the books are solely based on the elements Aang had to learn. That's it. There will be no book 4 because Aang doesn't need to learn Air because he's already learned it -.-"

I am somewhat coming to peace with the end of Avatar, and I would be comfortable if they continued it with a new series with a new group of characters. Although, it would still kind of bother me if they didn't continue it .

This state of content may only be temporary though; after I re-watch the series, I will probably have a massive Avatar withdrawal, even worse than this first one. I didn't cry this time, just got teary at some points .

I saw one of the episodes from the first season today and I was so shocked. It's such a good show! But if there is a new season, it will be all new characters.

I've given up my hopes and moved onto that . Yet, it still makes me wonder what they're going to do to solve the Airbending problem. If there is no Airbenders to teach the Avatar, then the current avatar would be unable to learn the 4 elements, and the avatar cycle would stop once it reaches the next Airbender in line. Unless they just do the simple solution and say that the cycle simply "skips" over certain nations if it's no longer present .
