    I actually cried when I saw Azula. It made me realize how bad Zuko's confusion really was, and that he escaped THAT.

    No, the Phoenix King title symbolized him burning the world, and having a new one rise from the ashes, like the mythical phoenix.

    It reminded me of early on in the series when Aang landed in th Panda Spirit Monsters burnt forest. Even though there was destruction it was possible to start anew. The fact that Mike and Bryan went back to that idea for the finale is just another example of how awesome they really are.
