Does Katara love Aang? The Ending

After seeing the new trailer, wich ship ( you think ) will happen?

Well, in those other stories, books, movies, etc., the main characters *guy and girl* already had a relationship with others. Here Aang doesn't notice his relationship with anyone accept Katara. I'm not saying Katara didn't have any other relationships she didn't notice but now I'm talking about Aang. Avatar isn't the most perfect show where everything you want happens. No, its not. Aang gets the girl. THey date, if they do, *yaddayadda* they're going to eventually break up, since it is Aang's first, even though long, its still his first. *a few months already, maybe a year* So yeah, k. But if Zutara doesn't happen, then ok, fine, but Zutara for the win... *happytears*

    i thought all his friends were dead but now we know Bumi and Guru(who was a friend of Monk Gyatsu)

    maybe we should make some story about aangs life before he learned about that avatar thing.


    Whats the point of that, what is the threat ? The bear in of the earthkingdom king ?

    And its obvious that Katara will end with Zuko, Kataang just crash each times Aang want to show his love to Katara, and now he just do the ultimate proof to Katara, And she look away !!!, please, its obvious she doesnt have the same feelings toward him. Plus, it happen too fast in the story, and it was not romantic at all. Both of them should have done the move at the same time at least, or just Katara (to show exactly what she feels, to make things clear at least)

    he met Kuzon and Bumi......... remember? and Aang went to meet them, as indicated by the flashbacks of Bumi and Aang( riding in the transporters of items at Omashu )yes girls there, plus he went to the East temple to get Appa, yes girls there also

    I think he did he was never shy around girls so he's had some interaction with them

    No, cuz not all airnomads are monks, even though they are all benders.


    show me an episode (or even an interview of the creators of avatar) that establishes that all monks go celibate

    everything seems to indicate

    baby born anywhere, sometimes in one of the temples, I think usually as a nomad, or living somewhere near the temple(as in a day or 2 travel from it); baby is taken to temple to be trained, as he(or she) reaches adulthood(between 16 and 20 I am guessing)he(or she) takes roots somewhere else besides the temples, than SOME(but not all) when they become mature persons(50 or older)return to the temples to become trainers of new airbenders

    The creators have said that all Air Nomads are AIrbenders, and the fact that they are all refered to as being spiritual and divided into gender Temples kinda indicates they are all in someway Monks. As for Aang meeting friends- my guess is because they knew he was Avatar they took him to the other Air temples and from there he interacted with the other Bender-nations eg Eastern being Earth (BUmi) and Western being Fire (Kuzon). Seeing as majority of time was with boys (age related "girls ewww" , and gender temples) i dont think Aang ever formed really strong friendships with Girls, but the atmosphere and philosophy of A.N means that they are friendly to everyone.

    To add to that, Katara is someone hes spent months with, almost everyday, with a crush on her. I think this made him less awquard to girls, and seeing as he likes Katara, see them the same way as before; He was oblivious to FN girl crushing on him.

    You must also realize that the Zutara ship is just as cliched as Kataang, if not more. It's cliched because "Prince Charming" sweeps "main girl of series" off her feet, apparently Katra should "heal his tortured soul," etc. etc.

    i kinda was refering to the sterotype of prince charmings. Zuko has shown he has fun (i loved them destroying the House in Beach, plus theres the scenes in NM&DDs, along with many moments with Iroh) so you mite say he is mature but still growing up (they are all teens after all) and learning to loosen up and have fun

    not even if at the end of DOBS Katara had said

    "OK Darling", smiles at Aang, holds hands with him; "time to go to the western temple" and gives him a highly passionate kiss

    those Zutarians would have said that she was just making sure that Aang doesn't get sad and/or mad, and he doesn't runs away with Appa, and leaves the whole gaang behind to become prisioners of the fire nation
