    im just gonna throw this out there.. i bascially havent read any of the other topics posted in this forum

    so im not sure if anyone has really touched up on this subject... but i just really wanted to say

    that i think that katara and zuko should have ended up together.. i mean come on!!!!

    throughout the show.. there were little hints of a budding romance between them but at the very end it all fell short...

    and she went with aang.. and he went with that one chick whos name i do not reememberrrr

    how sad.. i mean.. i thought that they could have been perfect together..

    her being... well.. water and him being fire.. although.. for a water bender she sure was a firey girl.. ahahah

    and wayyyyy to emotional for my taste.. but regardless.. i would have like to see her and zuko together..

    i mean.. the airbender is an airbender.. he is susposed to be the virigin of the show..

    he is susposed to stay pure..

    hes kinda like.. the ed to cowboy be bop... or... shipo.. to inuyasha.. do you get what im saying?

    plus let me add

    myself like A lot of other people..

    there are parts when its just katara and zuko

    and you could definitly tell that there was something going on between them

    especially in the last episodes counting down to the finale where aang fights the fire lord......

    how can you not see the chemistry between them.

    it is soo obvious 0_o

    which is why at one point before i know about the whole katara aang fling..

    i thought that her and zuko were going to be together....

    but in the end

    it went a completely different way.

    alright for examping there is a part

    in the episode where they are staying at zukos house

    and they happen to go in to town to watch that little play that is susposed to be like the story of avatars life and what not

    well in there.. you see... a part where in the play katara and zuko end up being together and then aang gets outed cause hes the quirky weird one

    well you know aang gets all depressed about it because he really likes her

    and so... katara gets confused and so when her and zuko talk they have a moment together

    also there is this one part

    where its katara and zuko down at the beach and shes crying about something i dont remember

    and then ... ehh

    they have a moment together..

    why do i need to be specific

    they have chemistry end of story.

    anyone who watches the show can clearly see that..

    WHICH is proabably why in the episode where they did go see the play

    the people who were doing the play put zuko and katara together

    and not katara and aang.

    EIP was a parody! ROFL. Bryke made it to make fun of the Zutarians. That had no significance. Zuko and Katara at the end of the series are merely friends. That's all. You can't come up with specifics because there aren't any

    also..

    when zuko is batteling azula..

    and she is about to hit... katara with lightning.. zuko jumps in front of the lightning and saves her..

    even though he could have died..

    or when

    when zuko and katara were trying to save aang and his uncle katara and zuko were trapped underground and they katara almost offered to use her special water on zukos face

    i dont know, i still feel like aang and katara is a better couple than zuko and katara. Zuko had that chick who was bored all of the time and they seemed right for each other. I think the reason why i think Aang and Katara were meant for each other is because Katara found Aang trapped away. It sounds weird, but its as if katara was destined to set aang free. Aang is forever in her debt...i dunno

    would he only stay with her because he feels like he owes her something??/

    im sorry i just dont see the chemistry between them.

    its just not working for me.. aang.. is too comical.. for her... she has.. a kind of brooding firey personality that i think fits really well

    with zuko...

    You dont see the chemistry? maybe u better watch the last episode where they kiss at the end. In the end they got together end of story.

    i could kiss you..

    that doesnt mean we have chemistry..

    it didnt show anything but a kiss.. and sometimes

    a kiss can mean nothing

    that kiss could have showed katara that she didnt really want aang

    that she wanted zuko..

    you never know...

    Watch the end. Suure a kiss could mean nothing.
    ...but if it meant nothing why would it show them kissing then
    above their heads it said "the end" and faded with lovely music?
    Am i wrong in assuming that meant something? Of course im not
    people should just quit when they don't or can't prove a point.

    OKAY REALLY THE LAST SCENE WAS AANG AND KATARA KISSING THATS THAT! BRYKE MADE IT THAT WAY THATS THE WAY IT IS! MAI WITH ZUKO KATARA WITH AANG UGGGH THIS IS WAHY MY LEAST FAVEORITE PART OF THE SHOW IS ROMANCE! JUST WRITE A FANFIC THERE IS A BUNCH (NO OFFENSE) CRAPPY ONES!

    I'm a Zutarian. And although i'd love to see Zuko and Katara get together, it didn't happen that way. They did have some chemisty and they were definatly friends in the finale, and possibly, if Aang and Mai had died they could have gotten together. There is still a possiblity that they could have gotten together even with Mai and Aang still alive...but we'll never know.

    Well if you think about it if katara got hurt she couldnt heal herself but if zuko got hurt katara could heal him. and he didn't want to bring katara in the fight in the first place.

    you would think that way

    but im taking in the whole show

    and the history of chemistry that

    existed.. you knew it was there.. regardless of how you personally feel towards katara and aangs relationship. you told me youreslf that there was chemistry between kitara and zuko.. why would he risk his life to save a woman that he has no feelings for.. do you understand that?

    i dont understand why or how you could even make such attacks about my personal opinion..

    but .. can you not deny that at some point you felt if zuko had feelings for kitara or vice versa??

    or are you telling me that at no point in the show did you ever get that feeling hm??

    If you were taking the whole show in account then why haven't
    you mentioned the episode the tale of two lovers.
    The whole episode was basically the romance between Aang and Katara
    just because theres a couple scenes with katara and Zuko showing affection doesn't mean anything. When Zuko finally did join the avatar team Katara treated him like garbage...wait less then garbage. If u don't want your oppinnion attacked support your arguement better.
    Don't take it personal just because ur oppinnion get gets shot down.

    a couple of moments is all it takes...

    i could give a crap less what happened between kitara and aang in a tale of two lovers

    if you DO NOT REMEMBER CLEARLY in that one episode where aang kissed kitara

    she basically shot him down..

    right..

    cause she should be with zuko.. end of story

    What are you talking about? Katara and Aang almost kissed in the dark cave. Because the legend told them to rely on love, and they decided
    to give it a shot. I don't even want to talk about the zuko part because
    it seems like you don't even remember zuko's purpose for joining the group. Of course she treated zuko like garbage...because she doesn't like him. Its pointless to argue with someone who makes up whatever they want in the story. kudos for not being afraid...i must admit the funniest fools are the self righteous ones.
