Yes it is. Toph can only see what she feels, she can't make herself focus on beneath people's clothes. Like you can't force yourself to read other's minds or have X-ray vision.

If she could feel through the earth then she could feel probably everything.

Does it look like she can see everything? Cause all I can see is a black and white version of the Boulder and Xin Fu.

??They probably couldn't show everything she sees cause Avatar is a nick show.

Anyways, neither of us could really prove the extent of Toph's "sight" so this argument is over as far as I'm concerned.

You actually think Toph can see others naked when their wearing clothes. What's the point? There is no point to your theory. Toph can just see people in black and white with vibrations travelling through the earth. She sees naked people if their actually naked.

I'm saying clothes make less vibrations then whats underneath them. But as I said before, neither of us can prove is she sees everything or not.

Oh true. But the creators wouldn't focus on that. The Boulder's pants clung to him, and would channel vibrations like his body, so she could see his pants. And what the creators says or design goes, so if Toph, even on Nick, doesn't see naked people when they still have their clothes on, then that's it. She can only see naked people when their actually naked.

I guess that makes sense in a way.

Besides, people wear underwear. Like Aang, so Toph would see his torso and legs, lead to his underwear, not beneath that.

The reason I think Toph can see EVERYTHING is because everything makes vibrations.

I think she can see like a normal person, cuz if you remember in the Blind Bandit she ahd no problem switching the dress and the bandit outfit. It may sound silly, but I doubt that they made to many vibrations.

Yeah but they still make vibrations

I think she can see both the clothes and whats underneath, because they both make vibrations.

She would remember where she put her garments. I doubt anyone would have moved them.

Yes, but it proves she can see mroe than vibrations, because give me one good reason her dress would vibrate. That sounds a little creepy...

    EVERYTHING vibrates

At this moment its technologically impossible to get something cold enough to completely stop vibrating.

I'm looking at my closet right now, and I can personally gurantee that I have NO vibrating pants in there.
