it would appear as if you hated everything about the show, as far as writing goes. =/

lol no! First of all: i loved sokka one dimensional, yet comedic charm, and toph's unique character. I'm just sorta nit-picking for the sake profiling.

Toph seemed quite 1 demensional in lots of episodes. But i remember one or two where she has lots of feelings. I think the desert is one of them, where she starts crying. I mean, its Toph, the mondo earth bender. So to see her cry was like to see Azula turn good.

    sokka

inventor and good as an engineer, great on the spot in poetry, finds it easy to assimilate different styles of warrior skills

his artistic drawings at the final scnes were a great improvement from ones at "Sokka's master"

he usually is one who comes up with the plans during the fights

he tends to be very skeptical which sometimes is a hindrance, sometimes is an asset he is one person who seems to get discouraged easily, but who has gained more confidence as his experiences have grown

he is a person who at many times has been very understanding and been very helpful in making others understand(toph at the runaway)and very analytical(counseling Aang at daydreams and nightmares)

sometimes seems very one-dimensional because he guards himself from revealing too much of himself

I remember another, i think its "The Tales of Ba Sing Se" where her and Katara go to the spa, and at the end those girls make fun of her. Then Toph says something about she doesn't need anyones approval, she knows who she is, then starts crying.

Oh that was a mistake, I thought I had typed everything I meant to type. I meant to say, "yeah, you're correct, that's the right episode, book 2 chapter 15. That's when we learn Toph isn't always the tough little girl she appears to be."

Agreeing with a previous post isn't a TOS violation, but I'm pretty sure that randomly flaming an on-topic post is.

Back to the topic...I liked that scene from Tales of Ba Sing Se because it was nice to see that Toph did really have a heart behind her tough exterior. Which was nice because her character hadn't really been developed any more since her debut episode.

That was kinda the post i was expecting in a response, thanks. I liked it mainly because you mentioned what I didn't and got more in-depth with it.

What about Suki? I know she's not really a main character, but the only thing i really remember her by is liking Sokka. Anyone wanna help me out? (for lack of a better phrase)

    this from wikia
    -------------
Suki is tough, assertive and not afraid to speak her mind; at the same time, she has a very compassionate and loyal spirit. Her softer side is frequently demonstrated in the presence of Sokka. She held out hope for a long time during her imprisonment of seeing Sokka again and showed no sign of breaking in the face of Azula's torments pertaining to Sokka. She also has a mild tendency to hold grudges as seen by her rather cool treatment of Zuko when they meet in prison and readily looks forward to a rematch with Azula and Ty Lee. A woman of action, she quickly and skillfully captured the prison Warden, an action which prompted approval from Hakoda.
    ----------------

may I also add that even if it is true she can hold grudges, she is also forgiving, as demonstrated by fact she soon accepted Zuko, and that she later on accepted Ty lee as a fellow Kyoshi Warrior, and happily played Pai Sho with Mai at Ba Sing Se in the final scenes

she has real good warrior and fighting skills, and is an adept teacher of martial arts
