Here is my personal list of the most powerful Benders of all the elements, in order of level of power:

    Level 1:?? Roku, Kyoshi, Aang

    Level 2:?? Ozai, Iroh, Bumi

Level 3:?? Toph, Jeong Jeong, Azula

    Level 4:?? Zuko, Katara

Yep, Zhao isn't even on here.?? That's cuz he sucked.

Well, do y'all agree or disagree with any of it??? I wanna know what you think.

Well if you're sincerely asking (settle in for a good one ). I'd put Azula higher since she was able to get the upper hand over Aang more than once. She could probably even hold her own against Iroh. Yes her attack on him was a surprise, but one-on-one his skill is imbalanced by his age vs her prodigy imbalanced by her lack of experience (a common occurence in asian-influenced things like this). I liked how you gave the Avatars thier own place, but I think "Avatar State" Aang belongs there more. And uh, where's Pakku? I also kinda wish they didn't always have to make the main and major characters seem like the most powerful beings on the planet, but meh whattaya gonna do? ...Yeah.

Yes, that all makes sense.?? I put Aang up there as the most powerful Bender that we have seen in Air and Waterbending - not counting his Avatar State.?? And I personally just chose Azula's??lack of wisdom??as being more hindering that Iroh's old age, which doesn't really impede him that much.?? And hey- being super powerful is the whole idea of Avatar.?? Oh- even though Azula has beaten up??Aang a few times, I think her youth and lack of wisdom make her, as a whole, a less powerful bender than Iroh.?? He looks beyond fire, into Waterbending, for his lightning moves, making him as??a whole, in Bending and wisdom, more powerful than Azula or maybe even Ozai.

Plus he even his non-Firebending moves are not Northern Shaolin. The way he disarmed the "mugger" is a classic Tai Chi move

Given that Jeong Jeong also understands other bending disciplines, I might put him in Level 2 myself, but since we've only seen him in one episode, it's hard to say for certain.

Meh, that "powerful thing" was just a quick jab, I mean it does happen in almost every show, movie, book etc. And you didn't really make any inferention towards what particular elements in regards to Aang's bending. And the show has kinda displayed that the "Avatar Spirit" and the person are two different entities. Oh and I forgot to add that Azula has basically held here own against pretty much every bender on the show, at once. Ok that part they were trying a bit too hard.

Im going a little DBZ nerd on u guys right now but at their current power lvls that means that Raditz could easily beat them all with little effort.

yeah I figured that, but Aang in his avatar state is like 10,000 or something. Anyways why has noticed this Sokka could get his A kicked by a sea turtle, or a wet towel (power level .02).

I know what you mean with the movies and books, but like I said: I know Azula is pretty dang powerful, but she is on a lower tier simple because of her lack of wisdom.?? If she was wise like Iroh, she'd be right up there with him.

avatars don't count. we all know that they're all the best benders, mostly cause they can bend everything and in the chase, iroh said how avatars are naturally more powerful.

and aang is nowhere near the best waterbender. katara is better than he is at waterbending and pakku is better thaan katara

and the gap between levels 2 and 3 is WAYYY more than the gap between 3 and 4

the avatars are counted as the best of their native element. Aang's the best airbender, Roku's the best firebender, and Kyoshi's the best earthbender. we don't know of a native waterbending avatar yet.

we can't count that avatar because we don't know her name or really anything about her. we're also not sure if she's better than aang, yet, because we only saw her blow a lot of wind around. and if you notice, the people in each level is one person from every nation (that we know of)

i doubt aang can create 100+mph winds that covers a large field and reaches the height of the clouds

and i'm pretty sure that all the avatars roku showed him are the best of the element they demonstrated (skill wise)

but i guess you're right that she doesn't count cause we don't know anything about her
