    I agree with everything said here, but the thing that gets me isn't her maturity, but her figure. (Don't get the wrong idea...I didn't mean that to sound perverted.) I mean, Katara is somewhere around the same age, yes? And she actually looks her age. Azula looks and sounds like she could be 20. She just doesn't have the body of a 14 year old. Same goes for Ty Lee and Mai.

    Back on the subject though, I can agree with most of what has been said on the forum thus far.?? The interesting thing is how smart she is to figure out to pose as the Kyoshi Warriors.?? However I can say that she had some serious training too.?? In fact it sounds like her and the other girls went to a private school.?? So they may have gained a great deal of intelligence.?? However the ones that can take her down are Iroh and Jong Jong.?? They seem to have a great understanding about being true Firebending Masters whereas Azula is like Zhao.?? Power crazy but cunning.

    Dude, I really don't think she's getting a big head. And it's not fair to say something like that to her when all she's trying to do is help out. It IS true; people make threads all revolved around one topic so she tries to make it easier by making something to help us all out. She's not trying to act superior, or show off cuz her thread got a.........."Sticky post at the top". If that's the way it's coming off to you i'm sorry, but i'm sure all she's trying to do is help out.

    Wait, wasn't Zuko 16 in Book 1? (In the episode The Winter Solstice) Iroh says: "In your sixteen years of life... (i forget the rest)"

    I recall hearing that Azula was 15.

    I am fairly certain that Zuko and her are currently at 17 and 15 respectively, but started the series at 16 and 14.

    A pretty large amount of time has gone by since the start.

    I agree that she is trying to help out.?? But I also agree with some of the previous posts that she does not need to patrol the forums.?? Her help is appreciated with the previously stated post-it however if I were the one that created it then I would leave it at that and not go into the threads to announce its existence.?? Thus bringing people off the topic of the thread like we are now.??

    Now lets stay on topic and everyone please remember that before you create a topic to check the aforementioned post-it to ensure no duplicates.

    As for their ages I had a good thought, can you really count Aang as 112 because of his frozen status or shouldn't he be considered 12 years old because of his inexperience.

    The other thing I thought about is that the timeline does not depict a years passing.?? When looking back at Book 1 you can notice that they refer to the winter solstice.?? Roku tells Aang to learn all 4 elements by summer's end before the comet.?? Now given those facts and our real world existing timeline that places the kids within a 6 month period.?? I also do not recall them showing any signs of birthdays so they could not have gained a year in age from the start of the show.?? They may be growing up and maturing but not in age.?? Think about it for a moment.

    Primo is one of the only people on this forum who knows what they're talking about. I don't really care what she's done to get to whatever level she's at. She's informed, she argues effectively and she keeps things running smoothly. Chances are if she's telling you that you're doing something wrong it's because you are.

    Azula's only fourteen years old? What?? I knew she was younger than Zuko, but I couldn't help picturing her as an 18 - 17 year old. She's smart and mature, and just doesn't seem to be the same age as me. I'm not saying I'm immature, but she just doesn't look or act her age. I'm probably a half a year older than she is. Has anyone else been bothered by this?

    Is the subject of the thread. Let me put it into simpler terms:

    "Azula is 14. I don't like that. Do you?"

    There isn't a topic to really argue aside from "They're liars" or "Get over yourself." As far as discussions go, I've seen Pouj-Rui incite more stirring debates. Unless you (Tico), have something to say that will change everything we know about Avatar and Azula's age, there's nothing to discuss.

    Azula being 14, or whatever is very odd, because she seems to be at least 2 or 3 years older than Zuko and is a lot more advanced in her bending abilities. She does sound really mature to only be 14, but that may just be given her circumstances of life. If she is 14 I just wonder how old Zuko is?

    Yes but as far as her firebending goes she has a natural talent.?? Remeber the Zuko Alone episode??? She showed great aptitude where Zuko had to work hard for it.?? You can also see in that episode that she is younger than him because when they are in the garden you can see how much smaller Azula was compared to Zuko.
