I'm not sure where you're getting your strange impression that we are trying to fight you. You keep saying we're trying to start a fight, when in fact we're doing anything but.
I have no idea what you said in you last sentence.
Nickelodeon (ended 2008)

*winces*
Will things like the rumored mini-series, the games, the Shyamalan movies, etc, also cause you to explode? Or will you have digested enough of your Avatar by then to consume some more?

I refuse to sign, first it will ruin the show, and second, they already were offerend to do more seasons but tune it down because they didnt want the show to get crappy. a new avatar show is good enough and keeps thecurrent avatar show from getting ruined. any true avatard would be sad that avatar is over and want more, but would rather have a few really good avatar shows than one show that was great at the begining but just goes straight down the hill the longer it goes on.
this "petition" is worthless even if you get however many signatures you want (which you wont because everyone isnt as stupid as you) its pointless because mike and bryan already turned down the offer.if the petition actually influenced viacom/nick they could offer them a few more seasons (again) and mike an bryan would be like, "what, are these fans retarded? we already told them we dont want the show to get crappy and are are definitly done with the animated avatar the last airbender" and then mike and bryan would just decline again.
It's not viacom/nick that wont let mike and bryan continue avatar the last airbender its that mike and bryan are smart and dont want to

Hmm...Maybe then I'll explode into peanut M&M's... nah, I think I'll live to see the mini series. ^_^ |
i haven't been here for a while but is there any specific reason for making this thread?
avatar's ending was brought upon us by bryke because there wasnt a need to extend the story further and they were practically done with the story of aang. I thought that petitions are more for the shows that a network shuts down, for example DP.

the creators of this show are done with it. they will not continue this show. please stop bumping this thread its pointless. |
Actually, they're not done with it at all. After they finish working on the movies, there is a lot of hope that they may choose to make a spin-off series. But they are done with Aang's story.

I actually think this thread should stay up on the first or second page. If this thread doesn't stay alive there will be tons of more threads just like this. |

*sigh* I've popped back on with one more question for all those people who want a 4th season. Let's say, by some miracle, there is a season 4. And just hypothetically, let's say that Isabel and I turn out to be wrong and the new season is just as good as the last 3. Here's my question: what then? If 3 seasons weren't enough, why should 4 be enough? What's to stop you demanding a 5th season, and a 6th, and a 7th, and so on, and so on. Far, far too many good stories have been ruined because they are forced to continue long past the point where they should have ended. I would hate to see Avatar join that list. It is fine to continue to explore a universe, mabye even retaining the old characters as advisory roles. But stories have to end. |
