Xen: Earthbender and Broadswords Master

"This, is my home," he said. He looked on the ground, and he saw a picture. Probably of his family.

Above the father, "Lukas"
Above the mother, "Kirse"
Above the boy, who looked like a brother, "Jax"

Suddenly, it felt like an explosion was going on inside him. His memory was returning to him. He slumped on the ground.

Jax: Earthbender and Broadswords Master

Jax woke up. He could move. He stood up, and walked around, and grabbed his broadswords.

He walked back to the temple, and he saw Fang.

"Hey old buddy," he said to Fang.
"Ummm,. hello?" Fang said.

"Didn't you hear me over there?" Jax said. "I was screaming for help!"
He looked and he saw Ami. She was upset about something.

"Ami, whats wrong?" he asked her.
"I can't tell you," she said.

"Oh, well, there is something pretty important going on with me in 2 days," he said. He stood up and walked over to stare out at the temple.

"In 2 days..." his voice changed. "Is the day the Fire Nation took away my family," he said. He dropped his swords, and started to cry. Suddenly, he saw a vision in his head.

It was a boy laying on the ground, in his old village?
It looked like...his brother. But it couldn't be.
Talk to him, a voice said.

"Are you my brother?" Jax said to the body.

He waited. He must have been hallucinating.

Then, he heard one faint word......

Yes

Ariel (master waterbender). looking for a waterbending master to train her.

Ariel was still drifting on the ocean, looking a master to train her. Sighing, she looked out into the horizon thinking until she remembered the name of one particular waterbender.

"Hmm. Maybe he's still alive. Uh who am I kidding. I've searched everywhere and I still haven't found him yet. Wouldn't be suprised if a man was bending right in front of my face", she complained as she looked out.

Then all of a sudden she saw a man bending right in front of her. Excited, Ariel raced towards him, thinking of the irony of her words. Thenas she got close she realized that it was a mere illusion. Frustrated, she created a huge wave around her. It raced across the ocean until it just suddenly stopped. Then a amn rose form the water and made the wave disappear in one simple swipe of his finger.

Ariel??stared at him, her mouth wide open.

"Umm excuse me? Are you?? the waterbender named Syrak.", Ariel asked curiously. The man looked at her and cme towards her. He then extended her ice slab to where he was and stepped on it, walking towards her slowly.

"Yes I am. And you must be the daughter of Erica Zufalon", he asnswered. Ariel dropped her her mouth again in shock.

"Name's Ariel.??How... How did you know?", she uttered.

" You look just like her. I remember when I first met her. She wanted to train so she could become a better bender and try to even rival the newest Fire Lord. She was about your age about as talanted as you if not just a little stronger. I guess you would like for me to train you?", Syrak stated.

" Yes." Ariel mumbled.

"Hmm. I will of course then??be your trainer, but first I would like to how well you bend", Syrak stated as he got into a fighting stance. Ariel got into her own and quicly started to run towards Syrak. She then created a huge wave and tried to attack him with it but he easily deflected it.

Attack after attack and still Ariel couldn't get a hit in. Frustrated, she started touse the slab of ice to keep her balance. She froze?? ic arond her legs untilit started to rise, covering her up to her neck. Syrak looked at her sternly and then made the ice melt of her.

"You have a lot to learn Ariel, but I believe that you will be able to do it. But you have to be very focus, persistent, and very resilient, or you will never learn to fully??master this element",Syrak explained.

Scorch (Elite Fire Bender)

He and Rin stood there silently for what seemed like an eternity when it??the clouds outside parted, but the sun was already setting.??He knew that they wouldn't be able to train today, but maybe they could do it tomorrow. Rin was still wheeping and Scorch looked down at her, not sure of what to say.

"Rin, I think we should hold off firebending for today," he said. She looked up and him and had a confused look.

"No, I want to train," she said. "I'll be fine."

"I should've said tonight," said Scorch, "this day just flew passed us, didn't it?"

Rin nodded, "yeah,??I guess we should get some sleep." Scorch yawned then nodded.

"We should," said Scorch as he walked over to the spot he's been sleeping at for the past three nights. Rin followed him and lyed down next to him, resting??her head on his chest. He cheeks had become red from all her crying, but she fell asleep fast on top of Scorch again.

"Ugh, how pathetic," said Pyro in Scorch's head, "yuck."?? Scorch shook his head and nodded off the sleep thinking, "one more day."

Ami (Waterbender)

Fang tells me not to blame myself, but how can I not, it happened on my birthday, of all times for them to have died.

Night fell and I went to bed but it felt weird not having Fang there to hold me and it took forever for me to fall asleep.

I looked around and suddnly saw my mother standing in front of me.

"Mama?" I said

"Yes, sweetie, I needed to tell you something" she said "its about time you told him the truth about when we passed." she said

"but mama, that's so hard for me"

"I know, but he will make it easier... I know he will take care of you that's why I wanted you to be with him... he loves you" mama paused "I haven't seen you this happy in years and your bending has never been this strong" mama smiled

"I know you can do this Ami, it may be hard, but it will bring you that much closer to him and maybe one day you two can have a family of your own and really make us proud" papa said

"Papa..." my voice trailed as tears welled in my eyes "I'll tell him" I said

"We love you, Ami" Mama said

"I love you too" they hugged me as I cried

I woke up with tears in my eyes. I had to tell Fang, tonight or I would never tell him. I walked to his room and went inside to see him asleep.

I felt that I couldn't wake him up so I just took advatage of the extra space on his bed and laid down with him and went back to sleep I'd tell him when I woke up

Syrak (Master Waterbender) Training Ariel

"But of course before we start with the training we need to see how well you are at defending yourself. It's one thing to be able to attack but an entirely different thing to stop the attacks." Said Syrak right before bending water out of the air about the length of his body and placed it like a window infront of himself, then he began to send fist sized balls of water towards Ariel that froze the moment they left the larger water body.

Ariel was able to block most of them save for the last that struck her in the chest sending her on her back. Be for she could recover Sryak bent more water from the air into a large water whip and lashed it around Ariels legs dragging her back towards Syrak. "In the time it took me to drag you back to me you should have been able to break the whip and regain your stance!" Syrak said less than happy then extended his right??arm towards Ariel and she began to float into the air well about Syrak himself. "So here you are floating around what do you do now?"

"This!" Ariel shouted as she sent as much water as she could bend towards Syrak's face in the process Syrak lost his hold and Ariel dropped back to the ground she went to capitalize but Syrak had recoved by the time she was able to do anything. Extending his left arm Ariel went flying backwards at least tweenty feet onto the beach. Syrak used his right hand to motion the waves near Ariel to flow into??and soak??the sand around her then making a motion with his hand formed a gian hand made of sand and used to to grab Ariel's entire body??he finally made one last motion and froze the water within the hand making it solid.

"Well I underestimated you, you were actually able to strike me. It normally takes my students months before they could even hope to do that." So do you really want to be stronger? To be better than you are now?

"Yes" Ariel chocked out still being sqweezed by the large hand.

"Very well!" Shouted Syrak making one large gesture that broke the hand off of Ariel. "First things first in order to become a powerful bender you must know the most important thing that you must always have."

"What's that?" Asked Ariel.

"That my dear...Is a good helping of rice." Syrak said with a smile as he handed her a plate of rice. "We will begin training soon but for now enjoy the rice..."

Scorch (Elite Fire Bender)

Scorch is in a white plain and see's to people in the distance, he remembered them from his previous dream. They were his parents. "Mom, dad?" asked Scorch like the last time.

"Yes, my son," said his father, "I can't believe how strong you've gotten." A smile appeared on his face.

"You've gotten so big," said his mother, "I remember the last time I saw you, I was able to hold you in my arms." A tear ran down Scorch's cheek, just being able to hear there voices. Just being able to hear how proud of him they were.

"Don't listen to them," roared Pyro, "they lie!" His figure appeared behind Scorch and began to whisper into his ear, "they are glad they died. They are happy they didn't have to deal with you. You are a disappointment to them Scorch. They'd rather have Obsidian than you." Rage began to boil deep within Scorch, and he took a fire in his hand, which was blue, and whirled around, blasting Pyro into small red particles. "You can't get rid of me that easily," said Pyro. The particles faded and Scorch turned around and looked at his parents, who were still standing there.

"I'm proud of you Scorch," said his father, "you have gained control of Pyro." Their figures disappeared.

"Mom, dad!" exclaimed Scorch. He ran in their direction, but felt someone grab his hand and stop him. He was yanked around and was face to face with a man he had never seen before, but was very familiar with.

"Stay away from my sister!" exclaimed the man. He kicked Scorch down to the floor. Scorch immediatley recognized this man as Rin's older brother Kazu. "You fire nation scum!" He took a ball of fire in his hand.

"No," barked Scorch, "I love Rin."

"Well that's too bad," said Kazu, "because she doesn't love you!" He hurled the fire ball at Scorch and a bright light blinded him.

Scorch woke up and saw that Rin was still on him. "It was just a dream," he whispered to himself. "It was only a dream." He closed his eyes and lyed back again, and waited for morning.
