    Why does it have to air so late? The series is gonna end this july, most of us are gonna lose interest in avatar after 2 years..

    Well you can only make an epic fantasy action-adventure summer blockbuster movie with incredible visual, special and audio effects that has a killer script and plot so fast y'know.

    Actually, I don't know for a fact they're making all 3 at once, but judging by the circumstances I'd say that's what they're doing.

    that would be the smartest move, so that the actors aren't way too old for their characters by the last movie.

    Thank you for everyone who has supported this thread. But because of the crowded status of pinned threads I felt that this thread was not as important as some of the other threads due to "recent events".

    I suggest that for people who have a continued interest in posting here to bookmark the thread. I will do my best to keep this thread on the top 2 pages of the forum.

    Tomtitan: Could you post a link to this thread in the FAQ thread as well? That way everyone will have an easy way to find it should it get barried.

    I really dont think it was necessary for this thread to be pinned. There really hasn't been much news on the movie recently and probably wont be much until the series has finished airing. At any rate I feel that the Sozin's Comet Protectors Thread is much more important/urgent.

    in the lord of the rings trilogy the production people made the whole movie as one so there was not stoppage in between movies and when they release them they had a year inbetween them, thats probly what they will do with avatar
