They're making a live-action Dragonball movie, it's coming out next year in early April, I've seen posters and pics from it and couldn't stop laughing, especially at Goku. Anyway, does anyone know who is in the current cast for the Last Airbender?

I hopey that all the kids starring in The Last Airbender will be unknown. It would be awful if they were the regular movie-star "cheesey" kids. Like Victoria Justice as Katara, Alyson Stoner as Toph or Taylor Lautner as Zuko...eww.
Thats kind of why i'm pissed that it isn't open auditions. Shyamalan isn't even giving the normal school kids a chance! They only want kids that have got an A* in their Acting classes, fully equiped with Agents and roles on Broadway.
I kind of understand that. I guess they are scared that every Avatared around the world will be knoking on their door, begging to play Aang. But it's a shame because i recon i would be a perfect Suki. I look like her loads, I'm a good actress, i'm the right age (14) and i have a black belt in Tie-Kwon-Do!! What more could you ask for?? [Also it would be pretty cool making out with Ether Brent ]
So anyway... those are my dreams crushed
But i do have faith that Shyamalan will pull through and the movie will be as epic as it was always destined to be!

i know what you mean, my best friend looks like Toph dead on, i'm not kidding. she's vietnamese but has light skin, big eyes, EXACT same head shape, and short (5'1'' short). she's 16 who in reality does get mistakened to be 10 or 12 LOL. we joke about it all the time. i wish they did do open casting calls.

In an IGN interview (which I'm to lazy to find so don't ask), Jason Isaacs unknowingly met Night at some movie premeire. He didn't know who he was at the time, but said he'd love to submit his resume for the part.

What i don't understand about the possibilities for the acting crew is that they all seem older, and the gang is just young teenagers... I hate it when movies assign older people for younger roles... >_>

At least the crew isn't official XD
