    But even from the show, the looks of characters are questionable. Obviously, the setting is based on many different asian cultures. But most of the main characters do not look distincly white or east asian or south east asian, the caracatured faces are basically anime imitations.

    And obviously, the voice actors dont have to be asian. This is an american tv show.

    With Aang at least, i think he sould be asian.
    i rather have aang a caucasion sorta i think the water people should have hawaiian backround but we arent picking who is going get the parts.

    greg baldwin is going to play Iroh in the movie AND he's voices Iroh (seasons 1&2) after Mako passed away. he said so himself on some other fan site where he regularly blogs.

    i just watch the last episode of avatar i would love to see the movie .it's gonna be sooooooooooooo awesome.i can't wait what if i die before the movie comes out......

    i am very nervous about that budgeti would be happy if it was like 100 million unless they promote it alot

    M Night Shyamalan has chosen the studio where he wants to film the movie. The good news is that if he does it will be a brand new studio. The bad news is that it hasn't been built yet so that's assuming the studio is finished by the time they start filming in 2009.

    Well that's good. I still say they're going to downplay age though since Night said the movie might be PG13. Just a guess.
